I WOULD highly recommend PTA (physical therapy assistant) Kayley, but nothing else. Nursing was supposed to come to change the dressing three days post surgery but never came nor called. I left a message on the fifth day with the 24-nursing line person that I needed the nurse to get back to me. She (the nurse assigned to me - Mary) didn’t call me back until the following Monday leaving a voicemail. I returned her call and asked when she was coming because the doctor said a nurse would come in three days and I’m really eager to take a shower since it had been a week. Mary said, “well can’t you do it?” I had trouble hearing her because she had me on speaker as she was punching away on a keyboard seeming to not be paying much attention to the call. I was taken aback at her question while she explained how easy it is. What she explained was a U-shaped dressing which isn’t the type given me by the hospital anyway, and, frankly, wasn’t the point! I told her, “Nevermind, the PT said she would do it for me” and hung up. Because of where the incision is, it wasn’t easy for me to see it so I was thrilled Kayley changed and cleaned it up for me. The folder of all kinds of papers were left with blank information so they were useless. For example, “if your temperature is between BLANK and BLANK call your nurse. If your temperature is above BLANK go to emergency.” Yeah, that’s a lot of help. I made sure my insurance didn’t pay for any non-existent nursing care I was supposed to receive. I give Kayley 5 stars but the company and...
Read moreThere are no words to express how disorganized, and unprofessional this company has been for us . Nurses told me false information to get me to sign on with them . My husband left the hospital with palliative care orders , and they signed him up for Physical Therapy and Home Care . He is in end stage heart failure, he does not need an exercise program. They promised to correct the problem and my husband quickly was declining to Hospice Care needing mediation for pain , every time I called I got an answering service that would argue with me that we were not on Hospice. On Thursday my husband fell I called Symbi for assistance and knew this was his final moments on earth. Answering service gave me push back again and told me no one was answering their page . This should have been a loving , honoring moment when my husband passed , it was not … I ended up having to call Weber County sheriff department, it took almost an hour for the home care nurse to show up with the DNR paperwork, in the meantime EMS started CPR …. None of this should have happened… and then today I received the death certificates their Physician put down the wrong cause of death … he listed cause of death as skin cancer … ( which means some one who really died for skin cancer has and hemorrhagic stroke and heart failure as their cause of death .. unbelievable, unacceptable, unprofessional… no accountability it it all about the money and they just do not care. BEWARE … do NOT use their services they...
Read moreMy occupational therapist working for this company was fabulous! She actually noticed my urine collection bag was very decrepid and out of date and moran to her car and brought me a brand new one with such a fabulous clip and ability to empty and close off more efficiently. I was so so happy!! And my physical therapist was over the moon. Fabulous! He was kind. He was helpful, easy to speak with and gave me lots of information about my injury and how long it would take to get it healing. He also gave me a positive review and said I was a very healthy woman which made me laugh my head off because I'm so full of metal and have had so many surgeries for osteoarthritis and he said" no, I'm talking about your vitals and the functioning of your body. You for a 78-year-old woman are in very good condition!" I am still so thrilled that he said that to me because I've been feeling so down about myself and my pelvic brake and all my many surgeries that I deal with and he just gave me such a lift !!!! And I am so grateful for that diagnosis from him. It just really made me feel so good about myself when I always feel so down about the things I deal with in my body. He was just a very positive, informative person and I loved having him come and I'm very sad that he discharged me and I won't see...
