It was MY idea to take my husband and me out to Buffalo Wings Murrieta for dinner during Happy Hour tonight and to enjoy some NFL football. I loved the food that we picked together, and our waitress Rachelle was wonderful. I wanted to watch part of the TNF game there because I grew up watching football with my Dad and I LOVE football much more than my husband. I work hard for my money (ask my coworkers), and I spent over $57 for just the both of us, even during Happy Hour. When we were walking out, the female staff at the very front ( reception area) only recognized my husband and thanked him as we walked out the restaurant. No thank you's for me and no goodbyes to me. What kind of profiling is that? To assume that my husband is the sports fan and he paid for our meal? I'm the sole provider for my family. I work hard for my family. As a nurse, I treat all my patients equal. I chose this place to eat at, tonight. I'm the biggest sports fan in my family. I paid for the meal. I gave a great tip. Why wasn't I given equal or even more respect than my husband? Is it because I'm Asian and he is Caucasian? Is it because I'm female and it's assumed he paid for our meal, because he's the man? How is that right? Thank you Dulce, today's "manager" for speaking to me over the phone. I am seriously disappointed and I will not come back here again. My husband is a former chef and helped to start up restaurants across the country and he states all guests should be treated...
Read moreWe called at 11 PM last night, and were told they were open for food till midnight. Drove down from Wildomar and arrived at 11:25 PM. Unloaded my husband, who is fully disabled and in a motorized scooter, from our minivan and were inside the front door at 11:30. The hostess asked if we wanted to be seated and we said yes, we'd just called in and were starving. She took us to a table, then left and came back, saying they had a 'last call for food' and we just missed it. Keep in mind that it was still A FULL HALF HOUR before closing. We reminded her that we had called in and been told they were open for food till midnight, and asked to speak to the manager. He came and said there was nothing he could do, that even though they were open another half hour, we couldn't get anything to eat or drink. He then said that 'as a special favor to us, he would allow us to order something to eat as long as we got it TO GO" - it could not be eaten there, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT CLOSING FOR A HALF HOUR. We were absolutely livid and left at once. Do not know if we were being discriminated against because my husband is disabled, but we are going to follow this as far up a chain of command as possible. We also will be making a public complaint and statement to the appropriate people first thing in the morning. Have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant in my life, and to see a disabled person treated so shabbily makes...
Read moreCame in to this establishment at 11:41 on a Tuesday night when the sign outside clearly stated that they closed at 12, illuminated in bright white letters. From the moment my friend and I walked out of our car, one of the ladies was starring at us and saying things to her other coworker which immediately made us feel uncomfortable. Mind you the other employee was sitting in a chair in the middle of the kitchen eating a popsicle. Sorry, isn’t that a health code violation? Neither of them warmly greeted us and waited for a third employee who came out from the back to finally say something to us. He then told us that we had to order to go and that we could not eat in the establishment even if we were out by 12 because our food would take “12, to 15, to 19 minutes”. As a sat by the register waiting for my food, upset, because I work in the food industry and don’t believe I have ever made someone feel so uncomfortable in my restaurant, another person called at 11:47 asking to put in a order and the guy that took our order told her that they were no longer accepting orders until his coworker yelled from the back “tell her she can do boneless”. Sorry the three employees working were entirely unprofessional. Don’t say you close at 12 if you refuse to give good service up until closing. There’s people that would kill for a job and and I hope that the three that were working tonight are replaced with people that...
