Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Muscle Shoals

My husband and I love Marco's in Florence and were so excited to see a store opening in Muscle Shoals. We frequently eat in at Florence and have never been disappointed. Pizza,cheesy bread,and wings are great. For carry out we go to Muscle Shoals since it's closer to home. We've never been disappointed with them either until today. We ordered the pepperoni magnifico for the first time because I'm a pepperoni fanatic. I'm sad to say out of the xlarge pizza most of it went in the trash. We both ate 1 slice each. It was dripping grease and the sauce was all over the place.When he brought it home and we opened the box we both were surprised. It looked like it came from somewhere else. I've never seen a Marco's pizza that looked like this one did. Even the box was greasy and sauce was all over the place. I was anxiously awaiting having pizza for lunch,ended up eating a peanut butter sandwich. I won't stop getting my pizza from Marco's I just won't order the pepperoni magnifico ever again, hopefully I'll never have another issue. There's no way to leave feedback privately on your website or receipt and I don't want to ruin your reputation, so I gave you 5 stars. You've consistently had great pizza last month with no issues with the order and we've been singing your praises to all of our friends and customers. The last two times we ordered with you it has been over an hour late before we receive our pizza that isn't made to order and is cold. The first time the driver said it was short staffed that day and apologized. The second time we assumed it was busy and ordered before rush and it was still over an hour late and cold. Just want the owner to know that they are short staffed and need more help to get correct orders out on time like you had it in the past. I half wanted to not order from you anymore because I'm a little hangry, but it used to be so good and I feel like it's an issue that can be fixed so we'll wait some time before ordering again in hopes the issue will be addressed. This was our first time we ordered from Marco's. We had an excellent experience. The interaction with all employees was pleasant in a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered the cheezy bread and the All meat pizza. The quality was amazing!! All I have left to say is watch out Domino's and Pizza Hut a new kid is in town and they might be taking over. 😀 Thank you today.
