Today 7/31/18 I went to Jimmy Johns and got a beach club with no avocado and no mayonnaise, I can’t eat those because they don’t sit well with me. I get home to find avocado on my sub, at this point I haven’t eaten anything all day and just want my sub. I drive to the store and ask for a new sub, the guy working who I think is the manager was really nice about getting me my new and he said back to me 3 times “so no avocado and no mayonnaise, right?” so I assumed this time they wouldn’t mess up, I should have checked in the parking lot but I’m dumb and didn’t even think to check. I get home and my sub has mayonnaise on it, I called the store to see if they can deliver me a sub at this point, they won’t deliver to my house because I’m “too far” even though I live 10 minuets away and in the same city. They put me on hold and said a manager can refund me if I go in at 8, and I told them that’s not what I wanted so they hung up the phone on me. I just think that’s completely unprofessional and if I did that at my job I would get in trouble. Read moreI got violently ill two times after evening there tuna sandwich. Placed an order for eight a day in advance, called and checked on it, and it still wasn’t ready for delivery at the time schedule. I had to send a guest from my home to the store to pick up the sandwiches. The store is staffed by young kids and the floor is filthy. Behind the counter there’s always food all over the floor and the young kids that work there do nothing to clean it out. I complained to Corporate and was told three times that the owner was given my information and would be in contact with me . That never happened. Terrible service, terrible food, dirty, atmosphere poor service starting from the top down. Made three complaints in early 2023, I never got a response from the owner, and have never spent one penny at this Jimmy Johns, or any other Jimmy Johns since February 2023. I used to be probably one of their top delivery customers. I am disabled and would order sandwiches to be delivered every time I had company and often just for meals myself. Read moreI ordered online using the app. I got my confirmation email right away at 12:02 And then 34 minutes later was sent a notification saying it was out for delivery. This wait was already way longer than it supposed was to be. I waited till 1:15 to call the store and ask where my delivery was as it still hadn’t been delivered. The guy who picked up said they only had one driver and that Uber or door dash had to pick it up, and that my sub had been ready since 12:15. After telling him that I received a notification that it was out for delivery he said the driver accidentally marked it as out for delivery. And that he would request for an uber or doordash driver to pick it up and deliver it. By the time I got notified an uber driver had picked it up it was 1:31. My order was delivered at 1:40. By no means should freaky fast delivery mean an hour and 40 minutes later. If you’re offering as soon as possible delivery, which I chose, you should be putting what time range that actually means. Extremely frustrating to revive my sub so late after ordering it, and have it be somewhat ripped apart and soggy from sitting out...
