Mickey's Family Grill — Restaurant in Muskego

We have loved this restaurant for many years while living in Muskego. The last two visits here have been extremely disappointing. There is only one elderly waitress who clearly can not handle more than two or three tables. She asked my husband what kind of bread he wanted his burger on!! Umm.. a burger bun perhaps? The service was terrible and she never stopped at our table to check on us until our food was eaten. The owner is the one who brought us our food. We never even got drink refills until our food was gone. Thankful none of us chocked!! The food is good and the owner did step up to help this horrible server. However there is not much he could do while also making sure food was getting cooked as he was running the kitchen as well. The restaurant was not even very busy only 5 tables or so. Sorry but this waitress is causing you to loose business as we will...

Falls short of being a greasy spoon but more along those lines. Interior is cold and by that I mean both the temperature and the decor, flooring etc. I sat at the breakfast bar which has metal stools and I would not recommend that either. But down to earth, homey place.. good service, and while I am sort of taken aback by breakfast sandwiches that are 11 bucks, turns out the thing was massive and came with hash browns, and I could only eat about half of it; so it turned out to be very good and very fairly priced. Has diner coffee which is the kind I like, especially at a diner. Place is much bigger than it looks from the outside and they could do themselves a favor by cleaning up and improving...

Going in here expected a family dinner but with how big the menu was it was like a Greek restaurant.

Food was okay but didn't really get what you ordered. My mom ordered a Ruben that was awful. It came on white toast even though the menu said rye and the meat was pretty gross.

My dad's food also did not have all the ingredients the menu said it would.

Chicken dumpling was good though.

Going here was like going to a local bar that has 20 normal customers. It definitely felt like we weren't welcome there, even though our waitress was nice.

Sadly cannot recommend.

Edit: a few hours after going 2/3 of our group got food poisoning. One of us got the salad and the other the Ruben...
