I showed up at 9:00 which really put these employees out. I felt as if I were the devil himself walking in the doors of Shandon Baptist early Sunday morn. Needless to say, we were not welcome. I get it, we have all been there. But the staff was unbelievably vocal about how much they disliked our timing.

I had previously called in regard to a dairy allergy which they informed they could accommodate. It was obvious this was a lie because all across the bar they had mozzarella cheese scattered about. Even the other toppings had cheese in them. As if all of the toppings decided to have a food fight using mostly cheese and some vegetables. So one of us didn't even get to eat.

They were upset when I asked for extra cheese, they were upset when I asked for my drink cup and one lady loudly explained that "it is right there in front of them. They just didnt pick it up." In a very snide tone of voice.

They whispered across the restaurant that our food had been completed. When we went to pick it up it was not on the pick up line. The nice employee asked if it was ours to which we said we weren't sure because we didnt really hear them. The whisper lady then snapped back and said "Well I called their names!" Again with much aggravation.

After finishing my food (which was very good by the way. Hence two stars instead of one) I went to the bathroom and nearly died on the grease trap of a wet floor that they had. No "caution" or "wet" sign was to be found. The moment I stepped past where they had mopped I slipped and barely caught myself. I'm not one to make waves about silly things like that. Bit that floor was more than wet. It was greasy. I could have skated to the bathroom if I had a solid running start. I felt a wave of relief come over me when I returned to dry land.

I love MOD and always have. But I will not be returning to this...

TERRIBLE. Just terrible! First, the girl that waited on me did not know the product. When I asked for an entree salad, she had no idea what I was talking about and asked me AGAIN. I then informed her that I have never been there before and didn't know either. Then I looked at the menu board and told her a MOD sized one. Absolutely awful customer service. Also, I thought that I was getting a salad that would be chopped with generous toppings for $9. NOOOOOOO not even CLOSE. The girl was so cheap with her small sprinklings of toppings. I don't have words for the way these people were dressed either. The lady putting the pizza in and out of the oven was dressed in gym shorts and had her cell phone resting on the center cutting board and loudly exclaiming about her conversation in a very uneducated and not classy way. I was embarrassed to just be standing in there. On top of all of that, I'm embarrassed that I paid $9 for the trash of a salad I got. I feel like it is my DUTY to inform my locals and fellow coworkers as well as social media of my experience at this establishment. I expected MUCH MORE than what I got...

Waited 30 minutes for 2 mini pizzas. Customers who arrived and placed their orders after we did had already eaten and left. Somehow the order had been lost? 15 minutes later we finally were able to eat. The server was apologetic and had upsized our pizzas and throw in a dessert pizza. That was very kind of him but would have much preferred our original order without the 45 minute wait.

The pizzas were both burnt on the bottom. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza itself was okay but really nothing different than the frozen type at the grocery store.

I found it distressing that one of the young men behind the counter was sweeping up food scraps from the prep area and knocking them into the bins containing the pizza toppings. The tabletops in the dining area were dirty as were most of the seats. Would not...

MOD pizza is becoming a popular option for Myrtle Beach. It's a tex-mex approach to pizza! Prices are low (like $11 for a personal pizza with drink) and loads of customization avaliale. The place is still new at this location so the facilities are still super clean and it's every bit as good as its other locations. The only reason I took off a star was because they didn't listen to me more than 3 times when I was asking for a garlic base, bbq drizzle, and cilantro (they tried to do siraccha, ranch, and garlic butter) ended up messing up my pizza, but they're new, so I give them a pass, just be clear with them as to what you're ordering.

Stopped in for the usual MOD pizza order. I love this place so much and especially when in the mood for pizza - my only real issue with this place and the others is they sometimes don’t want to give you a regular amount of an ingredient type. For instance, tiny handful of chicken for the pizza is not what I would like. So I always have to ask for more. I don’t want to waste it, but go with a half cup of everything at the start! Highly recommend this location and mode pizza in general.
