I'm a Marine Corp vet. These people refused to serve my wife and I because I have a service dog. Told us we could sit outside, in the winter. Will never set foot inside there ever again.
Edit following marketing manager's response: I applaud your response, although it would seem that the rest of management does not share your line of thinking. While we were debating with the staff at the restaurant we even pulled up the ADA's website to show them exactly what they were doing wrong (they actually have a simple, one-page document detailing the legal rights of both parties). Even after being shown that, they decided to call the owner. The girl DID make a call as we observed her on the phone. The person they spoke to on the phone (who they stated was the owner) was the individual who stated that our service dog could be outside, but could not stay inside. Regarding the violations of our rights pertaining to the use of service animals by disabled individuals under the Americans with Disabilities Act, we have filed a grievance with the ADA and are currently in discussions with our attorney, although I question the outcome of pursuing legal actions as this would not make the owner any less of a reprehensible individual, but we will follow the recommendations of our legal council on the next course of action. Either way, we're never coming back. Would you if you were in our position? Regardless of legal action / recourse, we will simply continue to NOT visit the establishment and will inform and encourage everyone we speak to about the business to do the same. Heck, just after a brief discussion on one of my military veteran message boards, there are already just over three dozen people who have stated they will never go there. I will also continue to post in local groups to warn people with service animals. To be honest, people WITHOUT service animals will likely be disgusted enough by the establishment to not return. We'll just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my family have been going to this place since I moved here in 2007. In the past it has been our go to for visits with family and friends or just for a nice dinner together. This past year this place has rapidly gone downhill fast. Tonight, was the final straw for us. We ordered some takeout, and we were missing a serving of rice and beans and the tortillas that went with my wife's fajitas. I called to get the situation resolved and my options were to come back down and get it or I can receive a credit next time we were in. Bringing it out was not an option. So basically, my only choice was to take a credit from a place that we never intend to go back to. I spoke to the manager I was not happy with my options. I let him know we have frequented this place several times but would never be back. His reply was ok thank you and then he hung up the phone on us. Add poor service to already declining food. I may not matter as a customer and they can dismiss me and my business easily, but I will make sure I tell everyone I know about how you all take care of your customers and conduct business. Please see the pictures of my meal Taco Bell takes more pride in preparing their tacos.
Update: It only took a year to get a response from management. In the mean time my 1 star review has gotten over 8k views. Every customer matters and even one unhappy customer can make a big impact. Good luck...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreY'all, I went to La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant around 8 pm on a Tuesday with my sisters and friends after pickleball, and the experience was absolutely incredible. From the moment we were seated, the service was top-notch. They served endless chips and salsa, kept our cups full without hesitation, and had napkins readily available without us having to ask. We were never left wanting. The waiter showed excellent attentiveness, asking how we would like our checks divided even before we started ordering, which made things smooth and stress-free.
I arrived with a small appetite, fully expecting to take home half of my meal for another day. However, I ordered the fajita quesadilla, and it was so delicious that I couldnāt resist finishing the entire thing in one sitting. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I can confidently say itās the best, most authentic Mexican cuisine Iāve had in Myrtle Beach.
The prices were shockingly low for the exceptional quality of both the food and service. This affordability allowed me to tip generously, which the staff fully deserved. The restaurantās friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, and outstanding dishes make it a standout. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a diverse, affordable, and delicious meal with...
