Fredonia Brewery, LLC — Restaurant in Nacogdoches

First time in Nac and also the brewery. 4th of July was probably not the best experience for me. Sat at the bar for about 15 min waiting to get aknowledged. There was a lady at the bar just chatting with other customers and eating ice cream, not a single word at least to let me know that I was not going to be served at the bar. Then I realized I needed to make the line to order a drink and come back to sit at the bar... Ordered pizza, got the wrong one, the guy gave me another token which I appreciate. The second pizza was the right toppings but wrong crust, and undercooked, asked to bake it for a little longer but they could not take it back as I had already taken some slices as I was starving after the long wait.

At the end of the night the bar staff exchanged shifts and a gentleman with the beard did a great job and made sure to take care and keep the glasses full all the time. He is the reason for the 2 stars instead of 1.

My intention with this review is that knowing that a Holiday brings this volume of people, the businesses need to make changes and don't let these opportunities pass with an...

The brewery is one of my favorite places to hangout in Nac. It is a very fun & low-key spot! The have amazing beer, a different food truck every week and fantastic bands! The owners are so cool and really care about the town. They keep adding delicious seasonal brews, which is so fun along with limited edition pint glasses! (See Xmas below) I absolutely recommend anyone coming into town for the day, on Saturday of course, or the weekend to stop in- see Jack and the crew. It's walking distance, approx 2 min. walk, from The Fredonia Hotel if you're staying there! Family friendly, special root beer and games, pet friendly and right around the corner from Main St that has food, shopping,etc. They also do special events there on occasion- SFA Homecoming, Blueberry Fest, Fourth of July, Christmas, etc! 🍻

They have a pizza kitchen now and did a huge bar expansion! Lots of seating inside the taproom for these hot summer months.

This is one of my favorite local spots. Out of all the cool places around Nac. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I always love seeing how many families are here having a good time. Including the pups. They are very dog friendly. Watering bowls everywhere. The brews are all amazing. And I love that you can bring in one of their cups to use as a refill. If only everyone did just a little bit more than the bare minimum to help the environment. There is almost always some kind of fun event or music going on. Their beer wall has an upside down printed can that bothers me more than it should. Very rarely is there ever a food truck not here, but I recommend going early if you want food. Most days are busy and sell out quick. We love Shali and Chambers. The renovation on the bar looks amazing. We look forward to going back whenever we can and hope only increasingly better things for our amazing...
