I donât write many reviews but I just had to share my experience. Me and my car full of my four beloved cats were in the middle of a move from Georgia to Albuquerque when I remembered my great aunt Thedra lived in the state I was passing through, Texas, in a town called Nacogdoches. I had a nice visit with aunt Thedra who wasnât allowed to leave her residence and when I left I was FAMISHED as all she had was worthers originals and prune juice. So I swung by this place, McAlisterâs, which I had never heard of and ordered a sandwich called âthe New Yorkerâ which stood out to me because I myself am originally a New Yorker. My initial impression was that the staff was quite rude and didnât find it as entertaining as I did that the sandwich was also a New Yorker like me. The sandwich wasnât very good so I took it back and ended up speaking to a manager named Emma who was such a sweet and understanding lass who personally saw to it that my sandwich was to my liking and it was the best sandwich Iâve ever eaten. This one the most kind thing anyone has done for me in years and made the trip well worth the extra miles for me and my cats (I saved some of my sandwich for them to share as well) THANK YOU MANAGER EMMA I will be telling aunt Thedra that if she or anyone else in the area gets the chance they should eat here to experience the great food and customer service displayed by the...

I entered not expecting much, just a typical sandwich shop like the many others Iâve been to, but I quickly realized that this was not the case; The ambiance, the atmosphere â this was no ordinary shop. After admiring the decor for a solid 19 minutes, I placed my order with one of the most friendly and helpful staff members Iâve ever met (Emma C) and then sat down to enjoy my meal.
The food itself was wonderful; The fruit cup was sweet and refreshing, the chips were light and crispy, and the cool soothing water from the Dasani⢠water bottle was just what I needed.
I left the restaurant feeling revitalized â not just in body, but in mind and spirit. Something changed in me â a new lightness, a love of life, and a joy previously unknown. Iâll always remember this place, this little sandwich shop in Nachodogs, Texas; Iâll remember the beauty it held, the flavors it inspired, and the priestly kindness showed to me by that employee. Thank you...
