Ordered through the mobile app since I was a ways away and wanted to give them some extra time to make my drink. I arrived 10 minutes after I ordered but they had a long line in the drive thru so I figured it would take a bit.
I proceeded to wait for 15 more minutes (25 since placing the order) before I asked if they had my order at all. They said “we are out of the sauce that goes in it”.
I work in food service so I COMPLETELY understand that you run out of things. I wasn’t upset that they ran out, I was upset that they didn’t say anything and just ignored the order all together! They had the order, and instead of asking if the person that ordered it was there to see if they wanted something else, they just ignored it until I asked.
Then once I asked, they made me repeat the entire order back to them right then. I’m one of those people that has a stupidly complicated drink order which is why I order through the app to save time and save a cashier from having to push all the buttons.
Even once they had the order... they proceeded to serve 6 more people ahead of me.

I was driving through nacogdoches tx and decided to stop, against my best judgement to get a drink at Starbucks. There was a baristas, Kim, at the counter that offered new drink flavors and menu items. What a fantastic experiece!! Not only did she take my order, she made my drink AND cooked my food!!! She was a BIG HIT, a one "woman" show, all while engaging with me and smiling the whole time!!! What a difference a person can make. I'll definitely be back soon. Kim changed my attitude with that store!! I had been there before, and left empty handed and went to a local doughnut shop to order for my offices and crew. Read moreBefore they got a new crew I absolutely loved this place. Well this morning was it for me, I will get my coffee at the Starbucks in lufkin next to my job. I enjoyed having my coffee on the way to work, but not anymore. I ordered from the app get there they say they can’t make hot drinks only cold. Well can’t get out of line so now stuck getting a cold coffee. Get to the window the girl tries to give me two other mobile orders, which just had this conversation at the speaker Smh. So very rudely she asked well what did you have? So you haven’t even started making the drink I decided on at the speaker smh shoves the drink at me, go to take a drink and the lid wasn’t even put on.
