First time hearing about this place was a week ago. So I decided to stop by and see what all the hype was about. I walked in was immediately greeted and let the guy know I was ordering take out. This man was very respectful and genuine. I then proceeded to place my order and then took a seat. I ordered the flauta plate. I was served in a timely manner and headed out. I didn’t catch a name, but I Thanked him. When I got to my spot to take out my lunch and start eating, the first bite I took was the rice and secondly the beans. When I tell you I have never tasted such good rice in beans and trust me I’ve tried other places and nothing beats this one thus far. Moving on to the flautas, they were also amazing. The only thing missing was the salsa, but it was good either way. Im pretty sure a few have heard of this place, but if not go give it a try. I’ll will be returning.

The atmosphere was great, but I had much higher hopes for the food. It wasn't "bad" food, but it was very bland. The least bland item we had was the red sauce (it was spicy). We had queso, enchiladas and fajitas. My husband said the fajitas were strange, as far as they weren't cooked like normal fajitas; whereas, instead of cooking one large piece then cutting them, he said it seemed like he cut the strips first before cooking. Also, the queso was just cheese, as you can see in pictures. That didn't bother me, since I pick around the peppers anyway. šŸ˜… The price was fine, and service was great. Just not as great as some of the other TexMex in town.

Today was our first time trying Papi’s and WOW. The service was unbelievably great. We received our food in record time and it was piping hot. We must have just beat the lunch crowd because it started filling up fast as we were leaving. My only complaint is that tue queso was pretty watery and thin, but everything else was great. We had the mixed grill, beer fajita chimichanga, and the grande with cheese enchiladas. Will definitely be back!

I got the Diablo shrimp, I know that isn't the right name, but it is the spicy shrimp. I love spicy, and this was the best spicy shrimp I have ever had. I definitely had to have some napkins on hand as my nose was runny, but I loved it. If you want a spicy dish that still has some flavor, definitely get this dish. This spice is more of a salty spice instead of a sweet spice, and I always prefer the salty spice, so I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely come back for more. Most places don't make their spicy shrimp spicy enough for me, and I normally ask for some more spice like chili spice or something similar. So be warned, it is spicy and delicious. šŸ˜‹

Being that it was busy and a new place, the service was a little slow, but that is to be expected. The waitresses were very friendly and kept an eye...
