I love blimpies and I will continue to go to the locations in other towns. However both Nampa locations have lost my business. The owner was incredibly rude, and unprofessional. Called in to order on the way to work in order to not be late. We get inside and find out that my co worker accidentally called the wrong store. Yes that was our mistake. We asked if we could order there instead and the young man behind the counter got ready to make our sandwiches. This woman comes out from the back and says that the other store on Cassia has already made our sandwiches and they can't take our order. I ask if we can still just order there since we were on our way to work just down the road from the store and wouldn't have time to drive all the way to Cassia. She rudely said that we absolutely had to go pick up our sandwiches from the other store and told us to leave. I didn't have time to sit and argue so I call from the car and ask if she can please explain to me why she turned us away. Before I can even finish my sentence she cuts me off and says that she owns both stores and that she refuses to take our order because it will cost her money. I said okay well wouldn't it have been possible for us to pay for both orders? She said that'll be perfect. I respond with why wouldn't you have offered that option before you told us to leave? Owner: YOU DIDN'T ASK ME. Me: Well being the owner of two franchises wouldn't it make sense to offer all options to your customers before throwing them out? Owner: WELL I didn't think you'd want to pay for both orders. I'm pregnant and hadn't eaten since breakfast. This was about 6:45pm. I would have absolutely paid for both orders if she wasn't so rude. My grandparents owned a motel and restaurant for 50 years and I worked along side them. I know customer service and a thing or two about running a business. Read more"Hi, can I get a lettuce wrap, please?" Went into this establishment and asked for a lettuce wrap. The gal pieced together strips of lettuce. I asked for a cranberry, cream cheese turkey sandwich. She didn't put cream cheese on it, and I opened it up and it looked horrendous. In this day and age where lettuce wraps are literally everywhere you'd think this sandwich shop would do a better job with making such a sandwich. My mom also got a sandwich, but on bread and they didn't add cranberry to hers! They remade her sandwich and she said the cream cheese tasted like unsalted butter! Very easy, simple sandwich to prepare and they missed the mark of both of them. We heard them taking orders through the drive through and they were down right rude to the customers. This establishment needs serious improvement with customer service and presentation of meals and making sure the meal is prepared correctly. These employees are adult woman. Read moreI have always loved going to this Blimpies location, but the last two times I have gone through the drive thru, the service and food quality has been lacking.
On this occasion, the line was truly taking forever; cars were not moving. When I finally got to the window, I saw 3 people on the line and one bouncing back and forth to the register. The young man in the drive thru was more concerned with his hair and the perfect fold of his shirt over his pants than working.
My food was clearly done when I got to the window but I received zero help. I sat there a long time. Eventually, I honked my car horn to get his attention. He looked dumbfounded and realized I was there waiting. I had to ask for my card back and ended up with a seriously soggy sandwich. I had to eat it with a fork because it sat so long on the counter. I there half of it away.
