Apologies for the long winded review but there was a lot to say about my experience this evening. If not for the awesome staff I would have given it a 2. This evening Sonic had 1/2 shakes and upon my arrival it was super busy (as expected). However, I parked in a stall acknowledging a little time for other patrons. Placed my order for 2 shakes and one gift card. I was under the impression that the stall kiosk would accept my payment and naturally proceeded. I watched as the machine’s monitor flickered and then it had completely rebooted itself. After the boot, I could visibly see several dead pixels on the monitor. I didn’t think much of my wait until a vehicle had parked in the stall next to me (5 people inside) ordered a lot of food and received their order after 10 min. I then pressed the kiosk button again and informed the worker I had not received my gift card or drinks. “Oh Nobody said there was a gift card on the order” was the response. I was then greeted with Tiffany and she was such a delight to converse with. She apologized profusely, gave the gift card and 3 sonic tokens. In exchange I gave my card for payment and she returned with my shakes. I was there for 45 min and had every right to be upset, but this brief exchange and chat with Tiffany enlightened me to a few things needing addressed. My anger and frustration is pointed at the owner of this location and or general manager. None of the stall kiosks have functioning card readers!!! The staff was seen continually making 2 trips per vehicle (a separate trip to deliver order and another to accept payment). Whomever leads this location needs to be called to attention that if they expect “the help” to function autonomously, then the staff need all proper, functioning tools in order to do so!! Read moreIf you had negative numbers I'd be using those. First off I pull into the Handicap stall. The speakers didn't work for that one so I had to flag someone down. We waited 30 minutes to get someone's attention. When we did this kid took our order, @ least we thought he did. He took half of it. Didn't even give us the shakes we ordered. $32 later and me talking to the manager all I got was 2 sorry tokens for a free drink. When we did get home, ALL of our BURGERS were made WRONG!!!! so I had to drive back. Spoke to the manager again, told her that they were wrong. With attitude in tow, Well what's wrong with them? Was her response. It took us 45 minutes to order, get our food, (which by the way, once it's brought outside it's not supposed to go back in. I know this from my son who used to work there) anyway 45 minutes to order, get our food, waited for our shakes, come home then go back. By this time there were 7 other customers that pulled in next to us, got their order and left. You bet I got my money back for the food they didn't get right. We had to remind this kid about our drinks. How hard is it to read your own writing and bring out 3 burgers, 6 corn dogs, fries and 3 drinks? I will NEVER go to THIS SONIC AGAIN!!! Read moreDon't bother. You'll just be irritated and mad you wasted your time there. There are better Sonic locations in the Treasure Valley to spend your time and money. We visited at 9:45pm and we ordered and paid through the app. We pulled into a stall and after 40 minutes with no food and no help by pushing the red service button, my husband finally went to the building to find out where our order was. He wasn't angry or upset and treated the employees kindly. We were presented with a lukewarm greasy bag of food--half of which was missing. When we asked for the cheeseburger and tots that were missing, we were given the order and then we went on our way. When we got home we found out that an employee had not given us a Sonic cheeseburger, but a cheeseburger loaded with only mustard and an insane amount of jalapenos. Who orders a mustard and jalapeno burger?? It was not edible as was most of the food in our order. I called the next day and talked to a manager mostly about the vindictive employee who tried to "stick it to us" with the jalapeno mustard burger. He apologized and got my name and address to send us a gift card in the amount we paid for our food. 3 weeks later, 2 calls to the national Sonic customer service number and no gift card.
