I'm not a big oriental food fan. I have tried this place several times and it's one of my favorite places. It's always busy, service is good, and the food is fresh and delicious. I suggest if you haven't been here before to try it for lunch first. Lunch entrees include a salad, each main dish comes with your choice of meat and white or fried rice. Dinner is more like family style entrees. Dinner service includes shrimp chips with spicy red Thai pepper dipping sauce. I am working my way through the meun. If you like duck, I suggest the duck spring rolls and the chef special fried duck. Both delicious! My favorite is the chicken yellow curry with white rice. This dish is amazing, the sweetness of the coconut milk and the favor of the yellow curry is simply delicious. My husband ordered the beef chow mein and Thai fried rice, again both were fresh, full of favor, and delicious. The miso soup is also a must try. This place has opened my eyes to delicious and flavourful food that is hard to beat and to put my fork down! This place can be busy, be patience the wait is totally worth it. The chef definitely puts a lot of love in his food! A must try and who knows it might become your new...

This was a disappointing experience. I was so looking forward to an amazing meal and it just didn't deliver.

When we arrived the place was packed; a good sign. We were instructed to seat ourselves where we'd like, and then we were ignored for close to 5 minutes - no water, no menus, etc. I can forgive this as they were very busy.

Once our server came over she was friendly and attentive. Our orders were taken, we had water and drinks, etc., in a timely manner.

My wife ordered the Thai Basil Stir Fry with beef and extra shrimp. It was delivered cold and had a strange watery sauce. It tasted ok but certainly wasn't what was expected. The portion size was good.

I ordered the Praram Long Song, which is meat (beef in my case) in a peanut sauce. While my food was warmer than my wife's it was still cooler than expected. The beef was tender but not very flavorful. The peanut sauce was terrible - very sweet and tasted powdery... like it was made from a powdered mix. Not very good.

The Thai beer pictured was the best part of our dinner.

We eat out a lot and try to be as fair as possible. The staff was great, the place was clean, etc., the food just simply...

Unless you want to wait WELL over an hour for food I highly suggest against eating here. It’s very unfortunate because my family told me this place had amazing food. I got sat at 7:00 PM, she told me there was about a 30-40 min wait for main entrees. I said that was fine, I was willing to wait. It was just me and my daughter (who is 4). I ordered their Thai Tea which was up to par, and potstickers. The potstickers came within 15 mins and they were very tasty. At about 8:00 my daughters dish came (chicken chow main) and it was tasty but pretty cold. She said my dish would be right up. I proceeded to wait an additional 40 mins before I finally just told my waitress to have them box it up because my daughter had been done with her meal for sometime and was getting anxious to leave. In total I didn’t leave with my food till 8:50...1 hour and 50 mins after I ordered my food. I got home and tried my yellow curry (I ordered one dish!) and it was okay, mainly filled with bamboo shoots and next to no meat. I have never been so frustrated in my life. And the top it all off, I never once got an apology for the wait or semi decent service. Will...

JP Thailand Express ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Located in a strip mall in Nampa, Chef Pong’s busy Thai restaurant is worth the trek. Because it’s so popular and has limited table space, it’s best to come early. Meals start with highly addictive complementary Shrimp Chips with Sambal, an Indonesian chili sauce. We started with an appetizers of Chicken Satay and Tom Kha soup. The chickens satay was good but the soup had a bit too much lime juice for my taste. The presentation however was the best I’ve seen. We followed with shared entrées of Green Garden Curry w/ Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice, Thai Basil Stir Fry w/ Chicken and Pad See-Ew w/ Beef, all of which were excellent! We finished with Mango and Sweet Sticky Rice. It wasn’t my favorite version of this dessert, but like everything else, the ingredients were high-quality and the presentation was lovely. And the service was very good too. Highly Recommended!!!

My wife and I both live JP Thai food. It's made fresh and tastes great every time we order. I order all of our food with tofu and it's the perfect texture for cooked tofu. Drunken noodles are my absolute favorite. They'll prepare it spicy or mild, your choice. Red Sea Curry is also wonderful. Fresh rolls with tofu (sans shrimp) are everything you've ever wanted from something named "fresh roll". I can't describe it better than just telling you to order ahead (they get really busy) and take it home and have a nice dinner on the couch watching Netflix. Picture is my drunken noodles. I don't much like cilantro but it's fine here. Watch out for full chillies in there! They'll give you quite a surprise.
