BoxCar Bistro — Restaurant in Nampa

Boxcar Bistro is now located at Primary Electric or 324 2nd Street South in Nampa (right nextdoor to the Dermatology Center).

I honestly have never had a bad meal from this place! The Italian Traveler (pictured below) is our absolute favorite, and you can never go wrong with her spicy lime white cheddar chips on the side (also pictured below). You can order whole and half servings of all sandwiches on the menu. Everything is always super fresh and made to order!

Jenn knows what she's doing with all of the amazing flavor combinations. She's got hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, kid's sandwiches, and even some breakfast sandwiches. She also serves amazing coffee drinks, Italian sodas and cream sodas, along with BUTTERBEER! The woman even has a MONTE CRISTO sandwich on her menu. IYKYK 😍😍😍😍 She also caters AND bakes cakes. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

If you love gourmet sandwiches, and want to visit flavortown (Guy Fieri needs to stop by in my humble opinion), you should really go see her at the BoxCar! Even If you like your sandwiches simple, she can do those too! 😉😉😘😘 you can customize a lot AND she's also on...

😋 BoxCar Bistro!!!! We were looking for breakfast food and the grilled cheese 🥪 & breakfast 🍳 options drove us to drive by. Great place for breakfast or a tasty sandwich made fresh. The owners Jen is super friendly and was so wonderful to explain the options. Which there are many. She has 4-5 cheeses 🧀 plus the normal meal/deli choices and several breads plus a croissant (for $1 more). She is hardworking and tried to get our custom order of 4 out in 15-20min (it’s NOT a drive through so if you are pressed for time it’s not going to work)... It did give us a moment to sit and relax (tenet and chairs are adjacent to the food truck). She has 6-7 sauces available and great flavors to choose from. Breakfast can run you about $6-8 and sandwiches are more around $14-17 (please see picture of menu for specific sandwiches). Note: Google doesn’t tell you which side (left or right on the street; it’s just in the middle)… but it’s directly across the street (opposite side) from “American Construction...

Boxcar Bistro is THE PLACE TO EAT when you find yourself in the Boise/Nampa area! The sandwiches we enjoyed today were SO FLAVORFUL and far superior to sandwiches you'll find anywhere else! Every ingredient was top-notch, from the meats and cheese to the bread.

We got there just before the lunch rush. People love this place! I'm so glad we stopped for lunch at the Boxcar Bistro in Nampa, Idaho today.

After the lunch rush, we were able to talk to the owner, Jenn Thacker. This business has grown from a dream in 2018 to a successful dream-come-true today! Way to go Jenn!
