Looks to me like this particular Chicago Connection feels like people have nowhere else to get a pizza. As one can see by the other comments, when they make a mistake, they feel they have no obligation to correct it. I've been buying from this establishment for years. I love their pizza. I've stopped asking for delivery because they apparently don't light the ovens in their trucks and they consistently arrive cold. Recently, we tried calling to order a take-out and the phone was busy. This went on for over an hour (we were traveling home and were far enough out that we could stop on the way by and pick it up). Finally, after an hour we were there so I stopped in to order. I explained the situation to them and received a blank stare like I was a liar. I held my cellphone up to ask if that was the correct number. The counter help said "yes". I dialed the number in front of them and let them hear the busy signal. They just shrugged their shoulders. Then the person behind me stated that they had experienced the same issue. Growing impatient, the person at the counter asked "did you want to order?". I told them that I would like to order a pizza for delivery if they would waive the delivery charge since I had to drive to their establishment to order. They asked the manager who promptly said "No". As I said, I like their pizzas. But you should know that if there is a problem, they couldn't care less about customer service. UPDATE: While there has been no change in the poor quality of their service, they did recently downgrade the quality of their sauce. They’ve gone from a “OK once in awhile” pizza company to a “Nope, never again”. Update#2. As you can see by the response from their, they have no intention of doing anything about their poor customer service or lousy attitude. "We'll talk to our staff". Just drive on past this particular poorly run business with no sense of customer appreciation. I later went back and ordered a pizza from them, only to take it back because it was definitely not the Chicago connection pizza I had come to love. I specifically asked their staff if they had changed their recipe and they confirmed they had changed their sauce. Now the response on google is that they haven't. So...
Read moreI ordered online food which was supposed to arrive. I called to find out if my pizza was on the way to me since it was already late to be delivered to me. I called this establishment when on the phone the guy told me that he was the one going to deliver the order to me but they had to wait for another order. Mind you it's already 25min late no call about my order was going to be really late nothing. I then drive to the location where I tell the person on the desk that I want all the fees that I paid for delivery charges to be refunded. The girl that was already flustered from the start. I asked what this random addiction fee was. The girl responded saying I don't think u can get this back. That when I said I want to cancel my whole order. The girl then said I don't know how this will go if you still get the pizza or if u can get refunded. Then I said again I want to cancel my order the girl silent for a bit then she finally said I don't know what to say which I informed her what she needs to do is go get a manger to handle this. The girl not moving just staying still when I asked again for a manger. The girl said that I do have a manger then looks again around then says but she is overwhelmed and so am I. Your going to have to bear with us. The girl was hesitant to go get the manger when she finally went to get her.
communication is lacking badly to the client that paying for a item you should make sure that you call the person saying that you are sorry for the inconvenience but we are having issues with delivery. All you had to do is reach out to us if you're interested in pick up the pizza or still want it delivered it will be later then expected. Then if you ask for management you should just go get the person on duty to handle refund or issue. You shouldn't just wait for the person to get more annoyed and frustrated with having to repeat and ask again certain things over. You think telling me about your problem is going to make it easier for understanding. Not going to help you if my order is really late then I have to...
Read moreWould truly appreciate it if your employees at the 12th ave location in Nampa would back way off on the neighborhood behind them. I started my first garden when the whole Covid situation started, which includes pumpkin, and other vegetables, and while the pumpkin has taken over, and grown through the fence, we are still on our property, in fact our property line goes to the blacktop. We researched it as soon as your employees had started harassing us. My husband, my sister in law, and now myself have had your employees say something about our pumpkins. We had one growing through the fence, attached, and one of your unprofessional employees took it off and did something with it. We have a couple more growing in that same spot and a brown haired employee with glasses said something to us. We are also noticing other things such as cigarette butts near my garden, as well as one certain spot has wilting leaves. I would LOVE to know why ANY of your employees are worried about it in the slightest, since it is not affecting any of them, nor the company. I have already complained to KC, who was nice enough to give me his number. This not only makes the 12th Ave location look bad, but makes the company as a whole look bad. If this continues, I will be taking it to corporate level.
*Update * Things with your staff have not improved, as our garden is still being messed with, cigarette butts are in our yard, and whoever drives the mustang feels the need to wake up the entire neighborhood at 9pm (our street is mostly elderly people). I will be in touch with...
