This place is a staple what I would call "dive breakfast". I haven't been here in years but went with my grandparents as they love it. We went on a Sunday morning so it was extremely busy. No hostess, likely because of staff shortages every where so it was not a problem. We wrote our party name down on the sheet and waited outside for quite a while. It turned out we got skipped by another party who arrived after us by mistake. Mistakes happen. Understandable. Once seated we sat for quite a while. The wait staff seemed way overwhelmed. I think I counted 4 waitresses which isn't too bad for the size of the place. But they all were running their butts off so we were content to wait. By the time she got to us we were ready to order meals too as we been given two menus to look at between the 6 of us. But she tried to give us more menus. We got our order in and drinks. The drinks came very spaced out but my young daughters juice was one of the first so I appreciated that. She was done with her juice before anyone else got their drinks and she wasn't offered anything else. We didn't ask though. The food actually came out pretty fast. It just seemed like everything was done in an inefficient order. Food was very good though. We...
Read moreI have been eating here since its competition has a parking lot with major potholes. This place which is always busy on Sunday needs some upgrading. The atmosphere is so old and outdated. Cracked upholstery on benches not to mention the restrooms. The servers are so busy that as often as I am there and as often as they see me, they fail to even greet me as I find my own chair at the counter. I wait way too long for service as do the other people standing at the entry. I suppose that they are still in business because there are so few other places to eat. Whomever the owner is, needs to do some major updating to the 21st century so he can compete or I will cross it off my list as a place to eat after church on Sundays. Word Western is misspelled at the bottom of this page. Doors should be wheelchair accessible. I'm sad to write this, but come on now clean up your restaurant!!!! Make it inviting and hire...
Read moreI have been eating at Sunrise Inn for over 25 years. In all that time I have never had a unpleasant experience tell today. I have never been treated with such disrespect by anyone especially a waitress. I understand that you're business is stressful and short-staffed currently. However the mannerism and customer service I received today was unexcusable. I waited in line with the other customers waiting for a table. The first waitress told me to find a table so I did. Sat down the waitress working the section acknowledge my party and said she would be right with us. Out of know where a third waitress started yelling at us for sitting down and not waiting. I attempted to explain the situation she refused to hear us out. I have never been so embarrassed. The waitress said we needed to get up and wait back in line . I will never...
