I am sad to say I was so disappointed tonight. I have been coming to Cupbop for a few years. Tonight I went into the Nampa location and we were greeted by friendly faces and a "welcome in". But thats where the good ended for the most part. I'd like to say the employees were all friendly. I immediately noticed the prices have increased quite a bit...ok, most places have gone through price increases recently. But I ordered 3 bowls and barely any meat was put in our bowls and noodles were skimpy. It was mostly rice. I asked for a little more and was told there was an upcharge for extra meat. I wasn't really asking for extra but rather the normal amount we've pretty much always received. I declined the additional charge. Next it was sauce time...this too felt like very little was given. I was given some extra sauce, but not much. If I am being nitpicky the bowls were sloppy with noodles hanging out and saucy fingerprints all over the outside. While there the cashier asked an employee to come put in a password to the tablet. The employee, who was preparing food and had gloves on walked over touched the tablet and counter area by the register and then proceeded to walk back over to the food prep station she was at and continued prepping food with the same gloves on...felt pretty unsanitary. We get home and I open up my food and noticed an off smell. I tasted my food and I couldn't really eat it..something tasted wrong. My husband and son also complained their bowls didn't taste like they usually do. Overall for almost $50 worth of food between 3 bowls and a couple orders of mandoo, I would expect the quality to be that of when Cupbop 1st opened. I'm not sure we will be going back...
Read moreThis was such a frustrating experience. We received an email promotion that stated "20% off your order if you order online" so we thought, why not? I hopped online and started the order. When I tried to make some dietary modifications to our order, I received a notification that our particular CupBop (Nampa, Idaho) was not accepting order modifications at this time. Ok, that is frustrating I thought. But we'll work through it. So then I go to checkout and input the 20% off code. Well, it only reduced the price $9 instead of the the calculated $16. That is when I see the order summary state the "20% off UP TO $9". What?!! I go back to the email promotion. Nothing that says "up to 9$" even in the fine print. Garbage promotion. Misleading and false. I end up having to order anyway because my family now has no other dinner plan. So then I show up to the CupBop to pick up my order and immediately notice that EVERYTHING on the menu is $2-$3 cheaper on the menu than it was online. Let me summarize: Promotion was not clear or accurate on the discount, no way to modify your online order to accommodate dietary restrictions, and the pricing in the store versus online would have save us around $15-$18 total on the order. Oh, and when we got home two of the seven bowls we ordered were missing a components (they only had noodles and chicken; no rice or cabbage). I'll be honest, I am very unlikely to EVER eat at CupBop again and am extremely reluctant to recommend it to anybody at this point. Get your stuff...
Read moreWe have absolutely loved the service here in the past… but today we went in and it was being ran by a bunch of kids. I went up to the counter and it took a couple of minutes before I was even welcomed in and acknowledged by any of them. (Mind you the place was empty, no line, except for a family already with there food eating in the corner)Two employees were cleaning and one was just standing there watching them do it… then when the girl that was just watching finally acknowledged me, she tried to get one of the other kids to help me and he was going on break. So she said oh okay that’s fine do that then walked off for another minute or so then came back and seemed pouty and upset she had to help me. She then took my first order and went to ring out and I had to let her know I needed a second bowl as well and she acted surprised and asked if that would be the last one. I said yes. She then got one of the other kids to ring me out… worst experience I have had at this location. I almost walked out and I am unsure as to if we will ever go...
