This review is a result of a total lack of customer service. It began in September when I went to this location for take out food. I received change for a $20 bill when I had given the cashier a $50. After stepping away I noticed and immediately returned and asked for the correct change. After a discussion that resolved nothing, I was asked for my phone number by the night manager and told that I would be contacted the next day. No call. After a few days I tried to find the contact info online and only found the "Habit Listens" website to which I sent a message describing my experience. Habit didn't listen because once again, no call. After my third attempt to contact this company I posted a yelp review and received a "We're sorry, please provide a phone number to reach you" response. So now, a few months later, I have still not heard from anyone. It's too bad because Habit was our favorite burger in town and we frequented there a few times a month. It seems as though this would have been an easy thing to resolve given the use of cameras inside and outside of the store with it very likely that one is trained on the counter. Read morePLEASE RED UPDATE AT BOTTOM.....Not sure about this location usually not as clean as the one by ho.e depot and people not as nice either The cashiers didn't seem to know enough about the food and even how to put my order on hold so I can take my folks some warm food and not rush to eat my self we order our meals and about 20 minutes after we got our food I asked my kid to let the nice lady know we were ready to start cooking for our to go meal not over 8 minutes later some not very nice girl comes rushing to my table slams a bag in it and not very friendly at all tells me YUR FOOD HAS BEING READY FOR A LONG TIME and takes off I say some one should have told me I was waithing for number 27 to be called because their vibrator system was not being used . The strne in the other side of town always bring the food to our table or at least try to make eye contact with me when my take out food is ready .. So my mom and dad got to earcold smashed food from a very rude girl that actually seemed to be o e of the manager probably not coming back to get location it is not the first time something like this happen UPDATE came by after seveal.months place looks much better cleaner and faster service miss mary was super nice...
Read moreI love a good burger. Most not-so-fast food places produce pretty similar fare, especially when they are chains like The Habit. So my expectations weren't particularly high. I thought I'd get a typically greasy burger and a handful of undercooked fries which would be fine, but nothing to write home about.
Thank goodness I was wrong!
I took two elementary kids with me (mine) to try it out. My first observation: Kids meals are reasonably priced. Next observation: Habit's Charburger looked better than I'd hoped. And the one that arrived on my tray (after a tolerable ten minute wait) looked just like the one in the picture.
Overall taste: Eight out of ten. I prefer a burger with a little more heft to it. Perhaps I should have ordered the double. But it wasn't greasy, it was hot, and there was a good pile of fresh veggies. I wanted to compare it to In-n-Out, but I think it was better. The fries were MUCH better.
The atmosphere is more fast food than diner, but that's okay.
Bottom line: It's affordable, the burgers are decent, the fries are solid, and everything is good, even if it isn't anything particularly special.
I'll go again. I want to try the teriyaki burger....
