Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Napa

Sad to say that I have nothing much good to say about my recent visit, so I will just write down what happened. After paying extra, waiting 5-10 min for a stronger cup of coffee, and leaving a $2 tip which the cashier acknowledged, the coffee was weak. So I graciously went back, was kind about the probable mistake of not using enough grinds to make the coffee, and asked for an extra shot of espresso to make it stronger, thinking, as is usual in Peet’s and coffee shops in general, the extra shot would be comped. The cashier asked if I wanted two shots, to which I agreed. Then she asked for more than $3 for the extra shots making it an $8 cost for small cup of coffee …. which seemed over the top and outrageous to me. I was so surprised and taken aback. I told her I didn’t want the coffee and left the coffee there. Peet’s is my go to coffee shops. I am sad to have had such a disappointing experience. Especially at holiday shopping...

Huge shoutout and thank you to the team members of this store. My VERY loopy self was adamant post-wisdom tooth removal (like within 2 seconds of walking out the door) that I NEEDED my morning coffee before I was taken back home. While I am sure my loopy self made the team laugh, I appreciate your patience and kindness. The girl up front took my iced coffee order and even recommended something ( I wish I remember what it was because it was delicious!) with a sweetener at bottom and cream - if anyone might know what this is, I'd appreciate it if you shared the name LOL.

All in all, a rough day was made much easier by my short stop in this shop, Thank You to all that were there that day. I will definitely be stopping by the next time...

This space was recently remodeled, November ‘22. Nice and fresh looking but I don’t think they’ve ironed out the kinks in their customer service. Last week. I nearly left because of the lack of communication and long wait time (there was only one person in line ahead of me.) I wasn’t even acknowledged which was odd. Then today was similar and a guy came in carrying a young child and he finally left without ordering as he had a similar problem. Time for our local Peets to upgrade their customer experience not just the space. Please! We want to love the...
