Once upon a time, This location was one of the best McDonald's stores in the area. They stood out to me bc of how awesome the customer service was & how friendly the staff was. Well, after a few visits lately, yesterday being the last straw, this place has at least one not so friendly individual working there. I hate I didn't get her name but if she ever reads this she will know exactly who she is... I started at the drive thru. I placed a simple order of nuggets with Bbq sauce & a soft drink. I asked the order taker if they could cook the nuggets fresh for me & she said yes. The order taker asked me again what kind of sauce did I want & I repeated Bbq sauce. I paid my money & was parked in the drive thru waiting Lane#2. I didn't mind waiting because I requested fresh hot nuggets. When the Lady brought me my order there was no bbq sauce. When I looked up she had already gone back inside the store. I drove back around to the drive thru & told the order taker they forgot the bbq sauce. He wanted me to sit in line again to get the bbq sauce but i told him no I had already waited, someone needs to bring it out to Me. I went & sat in the waiting lane again for almost 10 mins. No one came out. I go inside, they had no customers inside & three cars at the drive thru window. I ask for a manager or supervisor & this fiesty short young lady claims to be one of the two. I said fiesty bc right away she came at me like i was somebody she knew from the street... Yeah what do u need is how she spoke. I asked her how long do I have to wait for someone to bring me bbq sauce. She starts yelling and waving her arm telling me to look at how it was only two of them and they have to take care of the drive thru... I told her first off I came from the drive thru, its your fault that the bbq sauce is not in the bag & all I see u doing is talking. She wanted to go back & forth at this point so I told her just give me some bbq sauce. I didn't wanna hear all that she was yelling & saying. She kept at & before I knew it she had me yelling back at her. I told her she should try to be more like The lady that was working the window bc that lady knew how to be kind & she, this person that claimed to be in management was plain nasty. I drove up to this location in a great mood, spirit joyous.... I left irritated as heck. I counted at least 4 people besides this lady working around the front counter area so there was ample help to simply bring or give me the darn bbq sauce. I know this review probably won't make any difference but yesterday this definitely wasn't McDonald's but it was for sure McNasty in the area of customer service. Thanks McDonald's on 75th & Naper in Naperville. Im...
Read moreWaited for a couple minutes behind another couple that was ordering at the front counter. After they ordered the manager walked away from the counter without even acknowledging that I was standing there behind them. She went to clean some work area around drive thru. After about 5 minutes of standing at the counter a kid said he would be right with me. After another 5 minutes he walked over to me and informed me they were super busy and he couldn't take my order at the counter. I don't use the kiosk because 1/2 the time they say there frappe machine is broken so I'd rather know before ordering. For anyone that is reading this franchise owner etc. I was there on July 16th from 8:50 pm to approx 9:05pm. I was the guy standing at front counter wearing hi vis pants and hi vis shirt. I can't go thru the drive thru due to my truck I drive, its to tall for the clearance bar etc. Won't be...
Read moreAnother day and my phone keeps wanting me to review this McDonald's. I guess the last one, and its grammar corrected accompaniment weren't enough, so I'll give it another try. What an amazing discovery! I must admit, with it's Irish surname, I was expecting some corned beef or shepherd's pie on the menu, but alas, none were to be found. Instead, there was an entire menu of hand held food that was available for quick retrieval after driving in a line and having a conversation with a robot. The food itself seems to be made from a plastic by-product, but it was small enough to fit in the front pocket of my white suit without much fanfare. I heard mention of a clown that seems to be a deity around these parts, but luckily I didn't see him. I made sure to steer clear of the storm drains. Overall, a very interesting experience, and I'll be sure to return, if I ever...
