Panera Bread — Restaurant in Naperville

Went and ordered two salads. Waited over 30 minutes while watching people come in after me then go out (or eat) before me. Decided I didn't want the food anymore. Went to get a refund so I could just go home. Food came out while I was in line for the refund but still didn't want it anymore. Once I got to the cashier I said it'd been 30 minutes so I don't even want the food anymore I just want a refund. Manager comes to starts processing the refund and says yeah it's pretty busy so I let him know there were many orders that went in after mine but were out before mine even got started. So that wasn't the issue. He says no all of the orders are made in the order that they came in. So I tell him I was standing in front of the screen and could see so many orders under mine get bumped up over mine. So he says well you had a big order...two salads. I couldn't even respond to that. Not only was he just flat out lying but apparently two salads is a big order. I spoke to the cashier a bit on how rude the manager was and she basically said that's just how he is. Situations like these are already awkward enough, if the customer isn't being rude there's no reason to be arguing with them. I live less than 5 minutes from here but will not...

We stopped in on Saturday and ordered soup and a 1/2 sandwich. The food arrived with 2 dirty spoons which I then took up to the counter to exchange. I asked the person for clean spoons and she went in the back to get them. She came out with only one spoon and I told her I needed both of them and she handed me the new "dirty looking" spoon. When I pointed out that it looked dirty also and she said "It is clean", I asked her "What is wrong with it then because it looks dirty?" Her response was "I didn't make the spoons"!! Really....so I asked for the manager because of her attitude, imagine my surprise when 2 minutes later...the same person comes over to our table to see what I needed. We then told her that she had a bad attitude and her response was "Ok". I then asked for plastic spoons to which her response was "They are down below". Not only was our soup lukewarm at best, the only other table that was there had taken their soup back because it was also cold. After this experience we are scratching this place off of our list. Shame on you Panera, your manager doesn't know a thing about...

I have been to many Paneras in the U.S. This was one of the worst experiences I had. Went on the Tues. bagel special last week. Rude cashier. As I am entering my ph #, I hear the bagel machine going off. I never asked for the bagels to be sliced. When I mentioned, this, the cashier gave me a look of death. It was so awkward. I am positive I was not rude to this point. They should look at the footage of what their employees should NOT do. She looked so mad I politely said it was fine, I would just take the bagels, sliced or not. I don't know how she sliced them, but they were not even close to being cut in the middle. It was like 70/30, like one side would be burnt if toasted and the other "half" would not even fit. I made a big mistake coming here, trying to run errands. I am not coming back to this location,...
