His family had the fish and chips, my fiancé had the BBQ chicken wrap, and I had the prime rib sandwich. The in-laws said that the fish and chips was delicious, the BBQ chicken wrap was solid, and the prime rib sandwich was flavorful, and came with au jus. We also ordered Reuben rolls as an appetizer and they were very delicious! The only downside was the noise of the restaurant, which was quite loud. It was hard to hear each other when trying to have a conversation, and I developed a bit of a headache. But, it was a Saturday night so I understand that things get busy, and it appeared that a band was getting ready to play shortly after we left. I have been going to Quigleys for over 22 years, I went last Thursday 3rd evening, sat at the bar and was served by a bartender I had not seen before, she was very curt and not friendly at all, I had 2 Jameson on the rocks, the bill arrived and there was a charge for "Rocks" $4.50 I asked what it was for, she said it was for the extra shot(s) she claimed she gave me?? I did not ask for an additional shot(s) !!! when I questioned the charge she started to berate me by saying that she had been a bartender for 30 years and it has always been a charge for "rocks" I paid the bill but left with a very bad experience about Quigley's. I frequent bars and restaurants all over Naperville and have never been charged "rocks" in any of them. I will most definately re consider my patronage to Quigley's after...
