We came to the Naples Carrabba’s because the Bonita Springs location had gone down hill. Well, the Naples location followed suit. The place was empty when we arrived and we all wondered why. Now we know.
The service was horrible. Keep in mind that the place was empty. It took forever to get someone to the table for just our drink order. We finally ordered our drinks and meals. The server never came back to check on our meals The food that was delivered was wrong for several of us. One of the kids drinks was leaking from the bottom and it took 10 minutes to resolve. How hard is that?!?!
The food was ok but not great. I can think of several other places for Italian food. So the delivered food was wrong and not that great. 🤷🏻♂️
Checkout time. We bought two $50 gift cards and they came with two $10 extra gift cards. We wanted to pay our bill with the two $50 gift cards and ONE of the $10 extra cards. The waiter said we couldn’t do that. SERIOUSLY?!?! He said we had to use the extra separately on a different visit. The $50 cards were cash and we can’t use cash with the extra???? . The server said he would talk to the manager but we watched him and he went only to the cash register. When he came back we questioned it again and the server argued with us again and said he knows the rules. That was enough for me and I asked for the manager.
The manager came over and he was very condescending. In the end, the manager gave us one $10 extra off the bill (we had already paid our bill and wanted nothing more to do with the extra now). He also gave two $20 cards to use on our next visit (which won’t happen for us; never again) and we gave those to someone else.
Sorry Carrabba’s but this was an epic failure on your part. The manager and server were horrible and should be fired. You need a new GM at this location to...
Read moreThis restaurant doesn’t even deserve 1 star, last night my girlfriend and I chose to eat here after our high school graduation ceremony, which was a big mistake because the owner has no people skills, she’s very rude, childish, and unprofessional. I had a table of 25-30 people, they took forever to order our drinks and we ended up having to wait 3 hours for cold food that sat on their counter for who knows how long. When we told our servers the food was cold the owner came over to our table and said “Whats the problem with this table now, AGAIN. Why does this table keep having problems” with attitude speaking in a rude manner (as if she had a problem with speaking to us about our food being cold. Mind you this was our first time saying anything to the servers about our food, or the wait time!) and then she just stormed off?? She came back about 5 minutes later and when a family member asked her why she stormed off she said it wasn’t her .. and it was. She picked up some empty plates off our table and in the process of doing so her hand kept bumping into my girlfriends head due to being so close, she didn’t say excuse me or anything, so my girlfriend said “she didn’t say excuse me..” and immediately the owner snapped back and took everything out of proportion, acted like a child, and made a scene trying to make it seem like we were in the wrong for saying ALL our food was cold. This was my first and LAST visit here. We had family come down from different states for our big night, and the owner completely ruined our whole experience, my family and friends will never...
Read moreWe've been rather faithful cuistomers at Carrabbas for a dozen years... and always ordered the same thing...Tenderloin beef filet, medium rare, with side of garlic mashed potatoes, and two beers.. We have bragged that your filet was better than any other restaurant in Naples... sadly, on our last visit to Carrabbas on north trail in Naples fl., we were told that this item has been removed from the menu... no more filet of beef... and as I don't care for pasta we have to find another restaurant that can supply a beef plate of tenderloin... Thanks for past services..It's a pleasant memory. I offer , a slight but important edit based on our last night's dinner . The same delicious beef tenderloin , to which we had become accustomed was, once again not on the menu .. removed for an unknown reason... when we asked several time over a period of an hour thatbwere dining on a oprime rib substitute, for the manager, to find out ":why: no tendelojun... each request found the manage was busy" The prime rib was what I'd call ":adequate" not on a par with the tenderloin and not an anjoyable meal. We now need to supply the effort to find a legitimate steak house where bwe can enjoy a steak as we had been at Carrabbas for two...
