What pleasure it is to discover for ourselves this family owned market and eatery. Don’t let the name fool you; it is more than a market! Upon arrival Valerio explained that what we were ordering was going to be done in the authentic style. Say no more, this is what we want! So carbonara made with simple ingredients such as Parmesan, egg, and fresh guanciale and his added touch of chopped pistachios. I had a focaccia made with mortadella, straciatella, and pistachio cream. Sounds simple, but the marrying of flavors transported us to Sicily. My husband had his meal with the a blonde Birra Maistra he raved about, I had a glass of their house red, which was a lovely Cabernet. When asked if I wanted another glass, Luca came and gave me a fresh glass of a different wine he explained was between a Chainti and San Giovese. It was so good we had to purchase a bottle. Dessert was recommended to us: tiramisu and a delectable pistachio layered cake. And we had to grab a few items from their market, along with a pistachio latte. Is there a theme here? Pistachios served aplenty. But if you don’t like that there are other options. I’m sure we just skimmed the surface this visit. But we look forward to returning to try more. This place was an escape from the daily routine, and truly a little port to Italy. The family spoke Italian and we learned some phrases and enjoyed practicing and speaking to them. What a sweet place. If you don’t try them, you are truly...

Oh my gosh what a gem!! We were wandering around the area looking at the second hand stores when it began to rain and I wanted a latte. My parents weren’t as keen but didn’t want to be wet, so they acquiesced— and were they glad!

Highlights 🌟 Authentic! the family is from Sicily and just delightful. The owner’s sister was there and seemed like the nonna of the entire place, making sure everyone was happy. She came to speak with us and while she didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, we got by with an Italian-Spanish mixture. The dry goods are also direct from Italy.

🌟 Great for gifts. With a larger-than-you’d expect collection of wine, olive oils, spreads, dry goods, cheeses, and meats, this is a great spot for gifts.

🌟 after 3p discount. We weren’t here for this but after 3p all baked goods are 50% off.

🌟 lots of sweets — and ready to eat food. If you’re looking for something sweet like sfogliatelle, bombolini, biscotti, or even gelato, they have that. And also sandwiches, pizza, and fresh deli cuts.

The only thing to know is it is quite small which certainly reminded me of Italy, so be ready to get cozy with your neighbor if...

The place is very cute and has his own charm, nice variety of products that you don't find in any grocery store. I got a pistachio latte wich was "ok" at is best, pretty disappointing from an Italian spot. The pistachio croissant was absolutely delicious, very generous filling inside with an amazing taste. Canoli filled fresh with ricotta cheese was dissapoing as well, very bland taste, pretty tastless better say. They advertise as 50% off afther 4pm everyday as a happy hour, but when I asked about that the guy at the register said he didn't know exactly and the POS system is set automatically but I payed the full price, wich is ok, I didn't mind that, but I left pretty sad and disappointed from this location. Maybe they had a bad day or something, it happenes, but I'll try to be back in another day for another...

After a fabulous 2-week trip to Italy, my wife and I were thrilled to find this gem. Mercato Italiano USA brought back all the wonderful memories of our trip. The quality of their products is exceptional, from the rich olive oils to the robust wines and delightful pasta. The pistachio pasta dish with its rich, decadent sauce was a standout—absolutely delicious. And the house wine? Very good indeed. The service was top-notch, making us feel like we were back in an authentic Italian market. We also couldn't resist coming home with some wine, pasta sauce, and fresh pasta. A special mention to the owner, Valerio whose passion and hospitality truly helped curate our experience, making it even more memorable. If you're looking to bring a piece of Italy into your home, this is the place to go! Five stars all the way!
