Gulfshore Playhouse A 5 Star Performance- It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play!

We recently attended the Naples Gulf Shore Playhouse, where we had the absolute best holiday experience of the season watching; It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.

We went there wondering how they could ever pull off a live play for one of the season’s epic feature movies. Having watched the movie days before as part of our annual holiday experience and tradition, we wanted to be ready for the real live experience.

What a pleasant evening we had watching this live play. The way they handled the live radio broadcast as they told the story was just excellent. The cast was beyond exceptional having the characters down pat, including the voices, nuances including remarkable sounds they made using typical sound enhancing tools from radio broadcasting in those days, to give it a more real movie feeling and experience.

Mr. Potter character was right on point especially his voice. Bravo! All the voices of the cast matched their movie personas and they were all very recognizable in all their inflections; most notably Clarence, George Bailey, Mary and the kids Harry and Uncle Billy persona’s.

The Naples Gulfshore Playhouse did an excellent job of bringing the feelings of the holidays to everyone that attended this play. They get the high A on my score and a high recommendation for anyone looking to boost their holiday feelings and experiences.
