Baker Park — Attraction in Naples

Hands down a gorgeous well-kept eco-friendly park. This is an absolute GEM of green space with nature trails in the heart of Downtown Naples.

I had been there a couple times before but the times were few and far in between and had only been to the main areas within view of the parking lot area (off of Goodlette-Frank Road).

A friend invited me to go for a walk on the 'Greenway' called "Gordon River Greenway" (access for parking, biking, etc. off of Golden Gate Parkway).

Through the forest and over the river (approx. 2 miles), you end up in Baker Park. We walked around as we snapped some phone pics of the views and I recalled how beautiful it was there.

I'm a lifestyle personal brand and portrait photographer and was intoxicated with the abundance of beautiful nature photo settings. :)

A few days later, I went back at a certain time of day to location scout for an upcoming yoga & fitness shoot. This is when I went even further into exploring the grounds.

As I was capturing scenic shots with my phone, I thought I would create some for you too. I didn't see many on google maps when I was initially looking so I hope this give you a thorough idea of this fabulous outdoor space!

We recently spent a wonderful afternoon at Baker Park and it was an absolute hit with the whole family! It's a fantastic play park that caters to all ages, making it the perfect spot for a fun-filled outing.

The park boasts a well-designed layout with dedicated spaces for different activities. Older kids will be thrilled with the challenging play equipment, featuring a massive bouncy slide that had them giggling with delight, and rope climbs that tested their adventurous spirit.

The splash pad was a refreshing treat on a warm day, providing hours of entertainment for the little ones. It was clean and well-maintained, which is always a bonus.

Meanwhile, the younger children's area was equally impressive, with age-appropriate play structures that kept them engaged and safe.

We were also pleased with the overall cleanliness of the park. The facilities, including the restrooms, were spotless and easily accessible, adding to the positive experience.

Overall, Baker Park is a fantastic destination for families looking to spend quality time together. It offers a variety of activities for all ages, clean and well-maintained facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere that guarantees a lovely afternoon out....

Great park! lots of trails. some picnic tables throughout to stop for a lunch. Lots of places to stop and catch some shade and breeze along the way. Beautiful boardwalks over Naples waterways. The park itself is very kid and pet friendly with playgrounds, and splash pads for the kids, and workout areas on the opposite side of the park for quiet evening workouts. It has a huge lawn area where people fly kites, play games, and have good old fashion lay blankets down on the grass picnics. In the middle of the park is a loop d’ loop to the top of the park for a great view and the back ground is airplanes taking off from the private Naples airport. It has a trail to the Naples airport and a playground for kids there and it also has a trail to the Naples zoo with a playground and parking there. The majority of the park is through paved nature trails and boardwalks along the water and mangroves for an awesome adventure with lots of fish and wildlife to see throughout. Some of the park has fishing available. We have a 3 year old and a dog and have been going every weekend to ride electric scooters and enjoy the park amenities. It is a great place to take the...
