A Dining Experience That Nourished More Than Just Our Appetites
This evening, we chose to dine at Peppi’s Pizzeria, and while the food was undeniably delicious, it was the atmosphere of genuine care and compassion that truly stood out. This is more than just a restaurant — it’s a family-run establishment where customers are treated like family, and service is both personal and heartfelt.
During our meal, a homeless man quietly walked in and simply asked, “May I have a spoon?” Without hesitation, the owner warmly obliged, not missing a beat. But what happened next was remarkable — he went back into the kitchen and prepared a full meal for the man. His servant’s heart was visible and deeply felt by everyone present.
Inspired by this act of kindness, other diners also stepped in to help. The man left not only with a hot meal, but with the undeniable feeling that he was seen, valued, and loved. It was a beautiful, spontaneous moment — a true testament to God’s love, reflected through everyday actions.
We left with full hearts and full stomachs, grateful to have witnessed something so special. We will forever be Peppi fans. Bravo to this amazing family for leading with kindness,...
Read moreThe BEST! You cannot go wrong with any choice from their menu. Their bread makes the sandwiches. This is my go to place when I want a Cheesesteak from like back home in Philly. I order a Cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, raw onion & jalapeño! It’s cooked to perfection every time. Their pizza is AMAZING-nice thin crust, always fresh. White pizza is to die for. Their platters are just as good too. I cannot say enough about the waitresses that work extremely hard. They go above & beyond to make sure you are satisfied with everything. They always come & greet you with a smile, a pleasant conversation. I have enjoyed getting to know the girls and Mamma behind the register since coming to Naples a few years ago. I won’t go anywhere else for my cheesesteak or pizza. We have enjoyed plenty of family dinners in here as well. If you have never been here, do yourself a favor & put it on your MUST STOP list of places to go while you are in Naples. It’s a hidden gem, one I’m lucky to...

That said, this joint makes a tremendous pizza. We all know that the basic cheese is the best determinant of quality. Two nights ago (at 10 minutes prior to closing) I called in the order. No problem, she said. It would be ready once I arrived. (I confess that I strayed from the basic cheese and called in a Margherita)
Sure enough - it was being sliced as I entered.
Great crust. Just the right amount of crunch/inner moisture. Nothing soggy. Tomato slices were thin, basil was fresh.
It IS not what I call "Pepe's" (New Haven, CT). It is, after all - "Peppi's". But I'll say this - it's definitely the best pizza I've had in Naples!
So - I'll call it "The Pepe's of Naples" (or...
