Was in the area on a late midweek night, we hadn't gotten dinner yet and found this 💎 gem. It's technically a bar imo with decent sized tables. But who am I to complain since the food was tasty. The General Tso's popcorn cauliflower appetizer was super crunchy and my wife who hates that vegetable actually loved this. So I'd call that a good surprise. The wings that we also shared were impressive. I thought it was just going to be wings tossed in a sauce but the General Tso's Chicken flavor was pretty spot on. It had a tiny bit of heat but nothing I don't think anyone couldn't handle. I personally would have enjoyed it with a bit more heat, but that's just me. We had such a good time talking and snacking by the time our orders were at our table we just dived into our main dishes. My Orzo veggie bowl was delicious and perfectly prepared, I actually skipped adding meat to it and was pleasantly surprised that it stood out on its own. Was told that the Ghandi burger was "soOoOO good!" They were considering the Impossible burger but said they would absolutely order this again. I didn't get any response from my other mates because we stayed longer than usual on a weekday night. We all went our separate ways but I definitely have to say that the food was scrumptious. I do however feel like the staff, as friendly and helpful as they were had been sitting in the corner periodically staring at us which was kinda uncomfortable for some. And since they were there you'd think they'd stop by to refill drinks etc, nope. None of us had alcohol so we assumed that is why we didn't get noticed. It was a huge deal but I'd definitely ask why they don't have an employee breakroom or they didn't just sit in a back booth. They just casually and continually stared at our direction and it was very awkward. However for sure don't let that scare you off going here. It should be on your list of places. Considering right next door is a 'Alcohol Bodega' of sorts. I just kinda wish we had access to eat in there too (three TV's were on in the restaurant). I imagine during the weekend's this place is packed. On a side note they did have seating outside but we weren't sure if you could sit there. They even have those tall heater's next to the tables with a plastic wall for the wind and sun. We plan on coming here again for sure. Maybe sneak peek on mother's day since my wife enjoyed it so much. As my mom would say: τρώω (tróo), ολοκληρώνω...
Read moreQuiet , with a great selection of beers and hard ciders (thanks to Greeks Next Door)! I love the Full Rack of Ribs for dinner - with enough to share! The fries that come with them are some of the best around! UPDATE: I changed my rating from 6 months ago because I went there with my family tonight and got the full rack of ribs again. But this time, I got a piece of plastic included as a topper of the Cole Slaw portion of my meal. I pointed it out and they apologized and replaced the Cole slaw. In my opinion, the meal should have been replaced and I should not have been charged. I did not pay $19 to get a plastic pull ring from some sort of jug in my meal! Updated 06/09/2020 Since we are in Yellow Phase with the Covid -19 now, I brought my daughter there to dine outside. They opened at 2PM. The menu is shorter than when they had indoor dining. She had wanted quesadilla but that’s off the menu. Instead she ordered Half rack of BBQ ribs with mashed potatoes. She decided to for go the slaw. It came out to the table like we were getting it to go. As it turned out, her mashed potatoes had been switched to subpar French Fríes. Their special BBQ sauce was replaced with McDonalds quality BBQ sauce. I ordered the Mac and cheese and turkey chili. It came out all mixed together in a pint container. Extremely un appetizing in appearance. No, I did not eat it, nor did we stay to dine. Here are pictures of today’s disaster. Can I give...
Read moreAbsolutely love this quirky little gem! The food hits the spot, and the beer selection? Top-notch. The servers are genuinely some of the nicest folks you’ll meet—though the service itself has a charmingly chaotic flair. Oddly enough, you won’t mind. It’s part of the charm, and everyone’s in on the joke—sharing laughs over the “5-star” service that’s really more of a lovable 3. Do yourself a favor: tip your servers (they’ve earned it), strike up a conversation with the person next to you, and soak in the cozy, come-as-you-are vibe of this awesome neighborhood pub. It’s community...
