A Chance for Redemption in Our Community
I'm deeply saddened but also hopeful that this theater can make amends by reconsidering their decision to screen Russian-made films like "Kuzya" and "Finist", produced during the ongoing Ukraine conflict. This choice can be a powerful opportunity for redemption and growth in our community.
As I think about the Ukrainian refugees who have found refuge in our community, I'm filled with empathy. They've experienced unimaginable trauma, and yet, this theater can play a vital role in promoting healing and unity. By choosing alternative films, the theater is not only rejecting Russian propaganda but also upholding the trust of our community. I implore the management to reconsider their programming choices and prioritize the well-being and dignity of our Ukrainian neighbors.
Until they do, I will continue to hold out hope for positive change. My heart goes out to the Ukrainian community, and I hope that we can come together to create a brighter future.

   Read moreHit and miss. Small town, old theater. You need these. But what's needed is a better system than the guy running the counter yelling at people coming in. No one should yell at anyone coming to see a movie. Owner should figure out a better way to operate this business. Maybe set up cameras and watch your employees.
People coming into the theater either have tickets or don't, want concessions or don't. Most people can figure things out on their own or they will ask for help. No need to yell. Or, at least put up signs Buy Tickets - at Concessions
