Great pizza! Never fails to excite my taste buds! Although the service was great, I was disappointed to here that Lebron James would not be coming to this location. LeBron James, in full LeBron Raymone James, byname King James, (born December 30, 1984, Akron, Ohio, U.S.), American professional basketball player who is widely considered one of the greatest all-around players of all time and who won National Basketball Association (NBA) championships with the Miami Heat (2012 and 2013), the Cleveland Cavaliers (2016), and the Los Angeles Lakers (2020).
A locally known basketball prodigy since elementary school, James was named Ohio’s Mr. Basketball (high-school player of the year) three times while leading Akron’s St. Vincent–St. Mary High School to three Ohio state championships in his four years on the team. He became a national media sensation in his junior year after appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated, where he was billed by the magazine as “The Chosen One.” James was the consensus national high-school player of the year in his senior season, and he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection of the 2003 NBA draft. Additionally, he signed an unprecedented $90 million endorsement contract with the Nike shoe company before he ever played a...
Read moreGreat pizza, excellent and friendly service, reasonable prices. I love how friendly and easy to talk to their employees are - they help you out with the pizza building process and are really nice and genuinely seem to like their jobs. I also like that the employees always call out when they are going through a blind spot kitchen door and when they are removing the pizza from the oven to put on the other side of the walkway to the pizza prep area. When a company values safety you know they have good values and guidelines (I should note that no customers go in that area, but it's something that we can see and hear when we're dining in). I'm a vegetarian and when I order a veggie pizza they automatically put on fresh gloves without me asking them to or even mentioning that I'm a vegetarian. One time they accidentally overcooked my pizza a little (by their own standards, I thought it was fine) and they offered to make me a new one if I had time to wait AND gave me a free pizza card. Once I saw them drop a pizza and they gave that customer a free pizza card for the additional wait - which isn't long at all. They really seem to value customer service and they excel at it. It's a pleasure to...
Read moreWe had mixed reviews, but overall very good. We ordered three pizzas, one for each person eating. The pizzas are one size: 11", and they allow an unlimited number of toppings per pizza for no additional cost. ($8.75 / pizza -- not bad). We ordered online, which made it easy to look at all choices and add what you want. Our orders are below in the photo. My own pizza (Jim's below) was excellent, with the circular areas of garlic-ricotta the crux of the background flavor, the meats adding flavorful highlights. Very thin crust, just slightly undercooked... I would have left it in for another 2 minutes. Sera didn't care for the cherry tomatoes on hers because she says it was too sweet, and it was good after the tomato chunks were removed. KJ liked it a lot, commenting, "This is quality za." At 11 inches per pizza, I calculate that it's roughly half of a Brickhouse 14-inch large, but perhaps even slightly less since it's a thin crust. We'll definitely return, but ordering online didn't help... we saw many people walk in, order, and get their pizzas long after ours were supposed to be done. (But it was a busy Friday night, so we'll cut them a...
