I often go to this location. Flavors are great but here what I experienced on Wednesday. I brought printed Reward for 5$. I gave her my last name and my email. She asked for phone number. I joined many years ago and since that change provider several times and phone number as well. Honestly, do not remember what number I used when joined. So, I had printed Reward coupon, gave her my name, email and she refused to honor my Reward ticket. Just like that. Turned me away. Really. Printed notification, my name and my email were not enough? Never happened before. So what if I do not remember what number I used so many years ago. Very bad customer service. This is a customer driven business. No customers, no business, no income. But that one did not care. Well, I won't go over there again. And without customers what this place going to do? Exactly. Go out of business. Got your reply. You missed the main point. Customer service. So what I did not have my phone number. In the past I would give my full name and it was enough. She did not even try to make it work. It is holiday season, work with people, make customer happy. Simple 1$ off would do the trick. Just make the day for long time customer. She ruined the day. Bad customer service. Your ice cream not worth it for me to go in all that trouble. Other people should stop going over there as well. Did it really cost that much for her to take care of a customer. No, just bad customer service. Store was empty, and with treating customers like that will...
Read moreIn contrast, I ordered an “A cookie lover’s paradise, this ice cream pie is filled with your favorite flavor and made with OREO® Cookie Pieces.” However, I received a chocolate pie crust filled with coconut chip ice cream. Essentially, we paid $26.00 for coconut chip ice cream placed in a chocolate pie crust. Notably, there were no Oreo cookies, whipped cream topping, or any other topping on the pie. My family has been ordering ice cream pies from this location since 2010. Consequently, receiving this subpar product for my daughter’s 68th birthday was a significant disappointment. Furthermore, the entire family was deeply disappointed and dismayed by the poor quality and lack of representation of “Bruster’s Ice Cream pies!” If this is the standard of service we can expect, we will not be patronizing Bruster’s again. Photo from Bruster's website of Cookies and Cream, as you can plainly see there are no Oreo cookies, no icing, that is coconut chip ice cream and pie crust is NOT made of Oreo cookies, unsure what it is but it is not how the pie was made for the last 15 years and it is underwhelming chocolate flavor. All photos of their ice cream pies on website look "decadent" and certainly this does not reflect that. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement after anticipating my beloved Bruster's Oreo Cookie...
Read moreI don’t like leaving bad reviews, Brusters I’m sorry, but I’m not sure if it’s just the Amherst area. EVERY TIME I go the ice cream is milky and tastes rotten, and it’s not just one flavor . It’s every single flavor that has this same rotten lingering taste. I thought it was just me at first but my boyfriend also stated how it tasted funny and after a few questionable sips we had to throw away our ice cream. I’m not sure if you need to change the recipe or just the freshness of the ice cream all together . But the ice cream does indeed taste and smell like throw up … on a positive note your staff and values for customer service have always been kind...
