Kalo Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Nashua

Worst food service ever!!! 😡😡. On May 3rd 2024, I made the mistake of ordering from Kalo Pizza & Subs. It’s my first time in New Hampshire so I wanted to try the local food. I called the shop @ 10:50 pm. I initially ordered a large half & half pizza. The owner said they no longer have large pizzas but they have smalls. I said okay and ordered 2 small pizzas, wings, fries, 2 small drinks. He never gave me a total price. I also told him my address multiple times so I thought he understood it. I even spelled it out but he said he got it. The owner said it’ll be a hour wait. It was Friday night so we expected it to be a bit of a wait. I didn’t see it as an issue. 50 mins pass so I called to double check. The owner said that the delivery driver is on her way. 10 mins pass and I finally get a call. The driver called to tell me that she was at the wrong address so I gave her the correct address, again. She said she’s 3 mins away. 7 mins later, she pulls up with the food and the bill. The bill was $70 total for only 2 small pizzas, wings, fries, two small drinks. We called to dispute it because it wasn’t making sense. The owner added everything up otp and included hell of tax. He also said that there’s a $7 delivery driver fee. (This was his first time ever informing me of that. Also, I didn’t order through a delivery app. I called the store directly). Next, after about 7 mins of us disputing with the owner otp and him having the delivery driver hand calculate the new bill, the owner realized that he gave me a 3rd drink that I didn't order. I eventually got tired of standing outside of my hotel freezing while disputing a wrong bill. The owner charged me the $70 and gave me a $9 refund ($9 refund was very random). I left feeling highly pissed off. (As I walked upstairs with the food, it reeked of nicotine. The pizza looked greasy and very disgusting. The wings were hard and burned. Even my sprite was expired. (How do you mess up a packaged bottled drink? 🤦‍♂️ ). The fries were cold and unappetizing. I lost my appetite upon opening the box. My girlfriend said she took a bite and couldn't finish 1/4th of the food. We decided to starve and just go to sleep. Horrible experience and over priced food!...

Went here for a cheese steak sub after reading great reviews. Staff are friendly and service was good. Seating was limited because the dining area was more like a daycare center for about 4 young kids. After ordering it was uncomfortable finding a seat. The kids were spread out in a way that was an added challenge and there was only one option left for us to sit. The table was wet with a good amount of water on the floor. We cleaned the table up ourselves. One of the kids shoes were left there as well so we politely kicked them over. I also noted a toy truck on the floor nearby about the size of a child foot that would have been a hazard if a customer did not see it and stepped on it. The food came. We ordered the steak bomb sub. The bread was burnt and the sub seemed to have a limited opening whereas there was not much ability to fill it. The meat and vegi filling had good flavor. But the quantity was disappointing. The amount of cheese was also disappointing. My husband and I agreed you only could taste the cheese in one or two bites. I really wanted this to be a better experience preferring to support our local businesses. I am hoping this was a fluke and will try it again for take out as I hear their pizza is...

I am always looking to try a new pizza place so I tried this one and the food was great. I got a chicken bacon ranch pizza and a cheeseburger pizza. I didn't expect too too much especially after struggling to find one for awhile. First thing is if the place is busy, it is very hard to park on the street in front of the place. You would maybe have to go in the apartment buildings parking lot. That was a struggle the first time but not the second. Food was great and the cheeseburger pizza caught me by surprise for how good and fresh it was. The quality for the dough was amazing. The second time was completely different. I called and they didn't ask for my name so that could have been a problem in the place. Luckily it wasn't so we got the pizza we ordered. On the phone I asked for no pickles on the pizza and they agreed and seemed to know what I was talking about. I got the pizza and went home. When I opened the box, I come to find out they took all the ingredient's off and it was just a pizza with beef on it. Very disappointed especially with family in town, but the first time was too good for me to give up on Kalo's. I will try again with a little lower...
