Bite a bit…. We will be coming back soon. It was soooo good.

Bite A Bit: A Delicious Dilemma (#EastNashvilleEats #WorthTheSplurge) Bite A Bit in East Nashville is a foodie's dream come true . It's a two-in-one haven, offering both mouthwatering Thai cuisine and delectable sushi. The appetizers are a party in themselves – from the crispy calamari to the addictive BAB wings with their lemon and serrano pepper zing, you'll be fighting the urge to share (especially those spring rolls! ). Sharing, however, is perfect for the Tom Kha soup, a fragrant and flavorful must-try. The sushi selection is equally impressive, with each roll sounding more tempting than the last. My personal favorite? The Long Hunter Roll – a symphony of salmon, crab, jalapeño, and cream cheese, all deep-fried to perfection and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. My only drawback: Bite A Bit can be a bit of a splurge. While the food is undeniably delicious, the prices can be unpredictable. For me, it's a place best enjoyed for special occasions or when you're ready to indulge a bit. In short: l Pros: Incredible Thai and sushi options, amazing appetizers, delicious cocktails and beers, perfect for sharing. l Cons: Prices aren't always accurate and can be on the high side. Overall: Despite the price hiccup, Bite A Bit is absolutely worth a visit. Just be prepared to fall in love with the food (and maybe plan your budget accordingly). You won't be disappointed!

I really like this place. The east side of nashville has been missing a solid Thai and sushi restaurant. Bite a Bit has managed to combine both rather successfully. The food is delicious. I’ve been twice, the first time to get sushi (which I forgot to get photos of) and the second time branched out to the rest of the menu. The sushi was so very good. Based on everything I’ve seen come out of the kitchen, I think it’s safe to say that everything on their menu is good. It’s just deciding what you want to eat. The service is pretty good. I only gave it a 4 star because it does seem to take quite a while to get food when they get busy. The kitchen is rather small for the size of the place, and they have plenty of take out orders. This isn’t necessarily a downside, but a recommendation to not go here if you are in a rush. Sit down and enjoy the random street food videos on the TV. Or talk to whoever you’re with, if that’s something you like to do. The atmosphere is quaint. Not perfectly cozy but it is very enjoyable. It’s a nice spot to have in this part of East Nashville. Now, all that being said, it is on the pricey side. It’s not downtown nashville or trendy new spot pricey. But it does seem to be the norm for most new restaurants. For 2 people, expect to pay at least $50 with tax and tip.

Let's start with the positives- the food is awesome. I had the Tom Kha soup and it's some of the best I've ever had. The portions were insane as well. Thai tea was killer. From a food perspective, great experience.

Now on to the sad part. I'm disabled, and asked for a low top table due to my disability. I have mobility issues and the high tops are very hard for me, especially because I have a service dog and need to be able to communicate with her. The host told me he didn't have any open. Okay, fine. I saw a dirty one but assumed maybe the party hadn't left yet. We sat at the high top until a booth opened, and then asked to move to the booth. The host came over and put a little "reserved" sign on the booth. Again, okay maybe plausible, but I then watched the previous low top open up and him seat a two top party there. We ate our meal at the high top and left. In that entire time, no one was seated at the booth marked reserved. I have worked food service before, and suspect that the booth wasn't actually reserved, rather he wanted to keep it open for a larger party. I understand that logic, but in the case of accommodations, it was a really rude thing to do.

Management, educate your staff on disabilities. If I was in a wheelchair, I wouldn't be able to sit in most of your seating. Asking for a lower table is a small request and your host's refusal to do it really put me off from an otherwise...

So me and my fiancé prefer to Sit at the bar. As much a I prefer the bar I have now sat there 4 times and each time the experience is horrendous. The bar tender, Destiny, is smashed every time. She’s more concerned with making herself and a few friends drinks than servicing the bar customers. Maybe it’s because I get in after 8 and she’s had a whole night of drinking ozeki nigori by the time We get there but the last two times I’ve gone she can barely take an order. I know we are aren’t alone because aside from the 1 or two friends she’s doing shots with everyone has a shared frustration in the fact that she’s done 2 shots before she comes around to take an order. I can only Imagine the owners must turn a blind eye due to how hard it is to find employees currently but it’s not like she’s having a shot or Two she’s hammered. Food here is solid so I have to think for people who want to sit at the bar they need to find somewhere else or Maybe ABC will eventually resolve it. Im all for bartender enjoying their job but they still need to be able to function and serve the bar customers who pay for their booze. Last time I was I raised this to the guy working the register and he said it would be handled. How did it get handled? He told her and she apologized by offering shots haha! Again Solid food. Service is bad and they don’t care or can’t find...
