Last Saturday on June 1st I ordered 6 breakfast tacos for pick up at 10:30. I had a busy day and thought this would be the perfect breakfast for my family. That was the only thing we ate that day. I returned home around 5:30 and my husband was on the couch and had been throwing up all day. I was starting to feel nauseous but thought maybe it’s because I was running around all day at 7 months pregnant. Turns out WE HAD FOOD POISONING. I was throwing up so aggressively that I ended up in the ER. I was terrified for my baby. Both my husband and I were so sick that we couldn’t take care of our 19 month old son. We had to have our neighbors watch him while we rushed to the Emergency room. We were both diagnosed with Food poisoning. Food poisoning at 7 months pregnant was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The next day, my son was throwing up and had diarrhea as well which narrowed it down to the eggs. I called and spoke to the manager on Sunday the 2nd and spoke briefly about what happened. I wanted to let them know so they could locate the issue and prevent anyone else from experiencing what my family went through. The manager I spoke to didn’t seem to take me take me seriously. He apologized and said he would look into it. He told me that he would issue a refund as well. It’s been a week and I never received the refund which in all honesty I don’t care about. This is a new establishment. There should not be an issue with food poisoning. I don’t know when I will be able to eat eggs again. My family started feeling better around Tuesday. If anyone else had a similar experience last weekend, please comment below. I hope this review is taken seriously and that no one experiences what my family and I did...
Read more⭐️⭐️ Ladybird Taco 🌮😕 I was excited to bring my partner and a dear friend I hadn’t seen in ages to Ladybird Taco in East Nashville, hyping up the cool new spots in our neighborhood. I’d heard great things, so expectations were high! 😊 We arrived between lunch and dinner, but the vibe was off—salsa pumps were empty, and every table was dirty with crumbs and sticky with cup rings. I ended up using my hand sanitizer to clean our table! 🧴😅 We each ordered three burritos, and my partner ordered a salad but they were disappointingly tasteless and hard to tell apart. 🥱 The drinks were delicious but overpriced. The cashier was super friendly until I left a $10 tip (pretty generous for counter service, I thought 💸), and then the vibe shifted. With so many other amazing spots in the area, I’ll likely skip Ladybird next time and spend my money elsewhere. 😐...
Read moreWelcome to Inglewood, Ladybird! We have been anxiously awaiting the opening for months and were delighted to see the “Open” sign out this morning. First thing to know is the breakfast tacos are excellent and their sauces are perfection. My favorites are the #1 and the #4. Second thing to know is that the coffee bar is impressive—I dare say my new favorite coffee spot in Riverside. I’ll be back for the cookie butter chai latte. Last thing I’ll say is that we got in and out in around 30 minutes and the place was busy. Despite how slammed they were, we still got checked on by staff, and had happy interactions with everyone there. They made sure to let us know that parking in the back lot is free during their open hours. Hooray for that! Overall a really impressive first day, and I’m sure many more to come. Can’t wait to try...
