Bone's Fish & More — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I ordered a catfish combo. The seasonings were good but I was served some old pieces of fish. I was given homemade tartar sauce with too much mayo. The fruit tea tastes like it was made with old water. Either she/cashier was eating while at the window or she ate someone’s French fry then someone walked up seasoned fries then closed the plate. I hoped it was not my plate so I guess that is why I received old fish. lol Not a good first experience. Couldn’t even save it for leftovers like usual. I eat out a lot and love supporting black owned businesses but this was a horrible first impression. I will not be returning. I was told 25 minutes but it took 45 minutes. And parking is ridiculously horrible and up a steep heel. Three stars given because of seasonings. ...

Everything there is good. Sometimes the wait is a bit long during the lunch rush, but that's to be expected if you want quality food. Love the catfish and the kielbasa sausage the best. Always friendly and nice to talk to. It's almost like your mom is cooking you a meal straight from the heart. I had passed by a thousand times before I finally stopped one day. I wish I had gone there sooner. Anyway, don't let the outside building fool you. It doesn't look like much, but the food that comes out is what counts, and I believe that bones is a hidden Nashville treasure that everyone should try...

Ordered whiting fish sandwiches and received Tilapia instead which is unacceptable will not be spending any more money with this establishment..I specifically asked that there be no substitutions and when my order was delivered I asked the lady if it was whiting fish which she assured me it was only to get home and find the wrong order and it's overcooked curled up..another way of deceiving an uninformed public who are purchasing superior fish and actually receiving a lesser quality item.
