Read moreSeriously, the worst drive thru I have ever been to. I wasted my 30 min lunch break sitting in the drive through. Upon arrival, it is raining. I waited at the speaker box for almost 5 mins before I even heard someone wanting to take my order(I ordered a Large #3 with Dr. P). During this time, I have my window cracked so I can hear, all the while rain is pouring in. Then after giving my order, I remained in place for another 3 mins until the line moved. I was in line for 16 mins before getting to the window to pay. I handed the cashier my credit card. No acknowledgement of the wait or apology, which makes me assume that this is commonplace for this establishment location. Then, when she hands my card back, she drops my card in the rain. Once again, no apology, she just says, "Oops". I retrieve my card and wait another 4 mins until my food comes. She hands me the bag and a small drink. I stated that I ordered a large combo. Still no apology and just turns away. I can hear her yelling to get a large drink prepared regardless of the fact that she is standing right next to the soda machine. Another employee come to dispense the soda and then she hands my soda to me and closes the window. At this point, it is useless to try to request my large fries. So I pull away and remind myself to never return to this location again.
I feel that I must add a caveat to this experience. While in school, I worked in fast food at Wendy's. If we gave this type of experience to our customers, we all would have been fired along with the manager. I expect that my strongly worded letter/email will either result in either a change of management and staff at this and similar locations or will result in the closure of this location due to the lack of improvement and failing...
Read morethe staff at this location is almost always very friendly, but tonight i placed a mobile order in app around 7:25pm, arrived at drive thru around 7:50, and waited at the speaker for several minutes while multiple cars (3) pulled into the drive thru lane next to me and were served. i think the speaker or something might have been malfunctioning. after pulling up to the window, i was given my drinks and told to pull forward and my food would be brought out shortly. another 10 or so minutes go by after this point, and i finally get my food and pull off around 8:05. when i opened the order up, my Large Royal Chicken combo that i paid an upcharge to get have-sies instead of fries had a medium fry with exactly four of the smallest, soggiest onion rings (at least i think that's what they were supposed to be? they kinda just dissolved in my mouth) and the sandwich did not have the ingredient modifications i put in when i ordered it. i reached out to support to request a refund and they said that there's nothing they can do except give me a $10 coupon for my next order, which i do not want as i most likely will not be visiting any burger king for a while after tonight's experience. no issue with the demeanor and attitude of staff though, i will say that even though everything else about the experience sucked, the staff was just as friendly, respectful, and...
