I used to love coming here but I'm going to be honest. I avoid it or will do drive through if it's not too busy. There is a guy that works the counter (taller, short cut hair, only speaks when spoken to. He is taller than most of the employees there) when he is working and I see him at the counter I just pull out my phone and order at the door then step over to the waiting area. I don't know if he knows it but he's rude. I'm complaining for the other customers i witnessed on multiple occasions
I was in line behind a customer, they was indecisive of what they wanted. They placed their order then quickly asked for a modification. He scoffed at the guy then turned to the kitchen "hey he wants this grilled... grilled... no he didn't tell me before I pushed the button that's why it messed up" he then turned back to the guy and asked "anything else?" Sometimes customers will be undecided and change their mind last minute. Even if you're having a bad day the customer should never see it.
I walked in, saw him and did a mobile counter pick up then stepped off to the side. I witnessed him robotically taking orders. No smile. No suggestions. Just dry. A Hispanic door dasher walks in and stands beside me. They guy from chicfila comes over with two bags for delivery/ pickup. He auctioned the bags off but no one said anything. So he put them on the shelf. The dasher turns his phone to show the name of the order he is waiting for and explained that he was looking for that order in broken English. The guy replied "the one I just called out..I just said that one.." turns and just hands him the bag and walks away.
I wanted to pull hin to the side myself and ask what is the issue with him.
He is not a good fit for the team and does not exemplify the chicfila way. I've never even seen him smile.
When I see change within/ without him I'll update my review. Those customers should not have had to deal with that. The rest of your staff has...
Read moreI wasn't very happy with the young lady in the drive thru. I understand that I forgot to scan my app, but when I asked her if she could reverse the transaction and run it again because I had some free downloads she's acted as if I didn't have enough money to wait for the refund to go back to my debit card. She said "Well I didnt know you had the app. The transaction is already done." When I asked her AGAIN to reverse it she then asked me several times was I sure when I was the one who initially suggested that she reverse it. I almost told her to forget it all, but since I just work almost 9 hours without a lunch break I knew I needed to eat something. If I tell you in the beginning that it's ok to run my card again...clearly I know that I'm going to have to wait for the refund. She explained to me that I'd have to pay again and I told her (while irritated at this point) that it was fine to run my card again. This is the 1st time I'm having this experience at a CFA. I won't be visiting this location as much as I'd love to (because it's closer to my house). I'd rather drive all the way to Rivergate where the service is awesome and things are done with a smile. This location needs to learn from them. I totally get making sure that the customer knows what's going on, but ask me 6 or 7 different times 6 or 7 different ways the same question ONLY TO GET THE SAME ANSWER EVERY TIME.
Fyi...I don't usually document reviews, but this one deserves one. Treat your customers right. Don't talk to them any kind of way. The only reason I didn't go off on the young lady is because she's a child and needs to understand what being in customer service...
Read moreVery poorly managed franchise. I ordered two entrees and small fry after waiting in the drive-through for nearly 20 minutes. I took my food home to realize one of the entrees was not placed in the bag. I brought the food inside to my friend as he was waiting for it and circled back to get my food. I went inside and presented my receipt to the manager and told her what happened. She immediately questioned, with receipt in had, what date and time I came and got my food. I instructed her to refer to the receipt. After that she cross referenced my order to confirm that I had in fact been in that day, when I had been there not 30 minutes before. She then told me that because I did not bring back the food nor call ahead, she could not give me the food that had been left out of the order, as if either of those two criteria matter at the end of the day. Would you also inspect my car to insure that my food was not left in there? Would calling ahead allow you to check the security footage to see if my order had been filled incorrectly? I was not raised to make scenes in fast food restaurants so I left, only to be greeted by the police outside whom I also instructed I was leaving. Absolutely the most ridiculous experience I have ever had in trying to correct a mistaken order. I thought Chik-fil-a was known for their customer service but I guess their franchise department is dropping the ball on who they allow to represent them. Through out the entire encounter the manager was very rude to me and speculative when they had made...
