Smoothie King — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

This doesn’t even deserve one star. We walked in to both employees playing on their phones, one eating in the front, and one lounging in the back and neither acknowledged us for a solid three minutes until we asked them if, “We ordered here,” while standing at the register. The one in the back claimed that she never saw us standing there yet made eye contact with me as soon as we walked in. The one in the front said to us, “Oh I was about to eat,” while the girl in the back begrudgingly took our order. After a few minutes the girl that had been in the front eating went to the back to help the other and didn’t wash her hands before handling drinks. These employees need to be reprimanded and retrained on proper customer service. I worked in food service for four years and this is definitely not a way to treat customers. Our drinks were super thick and did not taste like they normally do as we get them regularly from other locations. Very dissatisfied, and will not be coming back to this location. i'm used to the slow service, but today was ridiculous. i'm 39 weeks pregnant and can't hold down much, so i was excited for a smoothie. i was cut off mid order and never had a response, i sat in the line for 6-7 minutes before driving to the side window to check my order status, where i was instructed to pay for someone else's order and then told, "well i never took your order". they took my order and i asked "these are for 32 oz, right?" then he shut the window on me. i pulled around and walked inside to confirm, as i wanted 32 oz. they hand me 20 oz and say it's my mistake and "you want us to make you a new one because you messed up and paid for 20 oz". i explained i never got to even have my order taken and i was sitting there for a while when 3 of the workers start laughing and harassing me about how i'm asking for a different size smoothie. i say never mind and walk out, when i'm told "haha, yeah that's right". i'm so hormonal it literally made me cry. just because i wanted a smoothie and to be treated like a...

Smoothie King is VERY overpriced. I never go through the drive-thru because it seems inefficient but I watched as 5 people went through the drive-thru and got their smoothie made before mine as I sat and waited 15 mins after I ordered.. Seems like it would be first come first served right? WRONG. If you want speedy service, go through the drive-thru because when I go inside I am always served last. I seem to always have an issue with the "loyalty" program redeeming my coupons. I wish this smoothie wasn't so darn delicious because I can get an actual meal that I can chew for the $10 I pay. It is so good though. The staff is pretty quick (in the drive thru). I only waited two minutes at the register to be acknowledged and my order taken. Very friendly staff so no complaints about that. Maybe there should be the screens like at fast food restaurants so order will be fulfilled in the order in which...
