Very very slow drive thru service. Very poor drive thru service, the person taking orders is not the problem, the problem is "TIMING" getting your food. They take your orders QUICKLY, they take your money QUICKLY but there's a major pause before the food make it into your hands. It be like 1-2 other customers waiting ahead of you, and they had been waiting for nearly an hour. Ok, there's Cooked food under the lamp, along with a tray of buttered biscuit. Can you guys train your team to be more prompt, there's a line of cars waiting to be served. It's not that your business is booming. In reality those cars have been there just sitting. Well, behind the scenes you guys are LOSING LOTS OF MONEY 🤑 to other nearby restaurants, people choose not to spend the whole day at your restaurant. Customers want their food "fast" (fast food restaurant) hot and ready to go, not spend hours, not satting for hours waiting for their order, just "to make your restaurant LOOK as if it's very busy." Where's the Boss?! Where's corporate?! If professional management was in place this business would probably rackup more than the nearby competitive restaurants. I love Churches'Chicken. But it needs to upgrade a bit with accuracy to meet the needs of their customers along with proper management that meets cleanliness, OSHA, marketing and sales challenges of today's world. Do anyone have LEADERSHIP VISION for such a surviving restaurant? CUSTOMERS ARE TIRED OF PARKING NEAR THE ROAD IN A LINE OF CARS WAITING TO BE SERVED. KEEPING THE STORE LOBBY OPEN WOULD PROBABLY HELP A LITTLE. But no one wants to clean restrooms or wash the windows, or wipe tables or sweep or mop floors. Image how the kitchen looks where food is being cooked, are they washing their hands, are uniforms clean? Closing store lobby to only do drive through for months??? Covid lockdown? No. But it does give customers an opportunity to see whether the cleanliness of the area where food is being prepared and cooked meet healthy concerns.🤷 Pass experience? Yes, chickn UNDERCOOKED (mindful of E-coli), 🤢🤢🤢🤮chicken used to be lightly breaded which was excellent. But then, it became overly breaded hard chunks, no crunchiness, just solid, where the flour hadn't been sifted. grease on vents, floors near food greasy, no hairnets or gloves used when handling food boxes, 🤢🤢🤢🤢after ringing people up, with the SAME HAND they place paper liner inside food boxes. Restrooms had poop and oily stains all over the inside, 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮the plumbing was terrible. Very surprised this store passed health inspection with 90-100? They must have given them...
Read moreFrom Jean Johnson on FaceBook: I was really craving fried chicken, so, on the way home in a WeGo cab, we stopped at Church's on Dickerson Pike. My husband, who has some vision, offered to go in and order. When he got to the door, he saw a sign that said the lobby was temporarily closed. When we got to the drive through window, I explained to the lady taking the orders that, aside from the driver, we were all visually impaired and asked her to please tell us the sides. She said there were too many for her to read. I tried to explain that we couldn't see the menu, so she would need to read the sides to us. Before I finished that sentence, she exclaimed, "I don't need to do anything! You need to have someone who can read the menu tell you the sides! Because our driver had limited English, I had not asked him to read the menu to us. My husband doesn't see well enough to read drive through menus and my friend and I are both totally blind. Although I tried to help her understand, after I had attempted to explain our disability, she flew into a rage, repeating that she didn't need to do anything and that we needed to move. It seems she was discriminating against us because we couldn't read the menu, rather than taking a moment to tell us the sides as I had requested. She kept repeating "move or metro". When we pulled up to the next window, she and at least one other person were yelling at us and even dropped the F bomb. Our driver wanted to stay until we were served, but, since we were unable to deescalate the situation, I asked the driver to just take us home. I do feel their actions were very inappropriate, which is why I'm posting this. Perhaps when I said "need" I should have used a different word, and perhaps should have said "blind" instead of "visually impaired" but, no matter what, this was beyond horrible customer service! We have gotten food from there several times with no problem, for over 5 years, so this was surprising and disappointing to us. I plan to contact corporate and,...
Read moreUpdate April 2024 I went tonite in and waited an hr for a 3 piece 2 sides and 2 pies! They gave my food to someone else for free because she thought it was hers and no one even offered it to me since It was mine to begin w. They gave another woman they seemed to know a full refund but still gave her food she ordered but still didnt offer me jack!! Something is shady w this it was very busy but chaotic and supper time so I showed mercy but the manager counted cash at 6pm and locked the doors w customers inside and they started telling drive thru cards only no cash at 6pm?!! The manager handed one of the cashiers cash that she said she owed him out of her drawer!! I am just very confused! If you have non stop customers and do good business why would you lock the place down and stop taking cash and give employees .iney out of register...my order was still incomplete after all of this!!
