Typically speaking I enjoy coming to Hooters. It has the sports bar atmosphere which I love. I frequently visit this location. Unfortunately I have discovered that the management teamSpace or shall I say a particular manager does not value me as a customer.
On Memorial Day I placed an order to go. A total of 20 wings and some fries. When I got there The time it took me to get to the location was approximately 15 minutes. I made no stops between my house to the restaurant. When I got there they gave me my order and I went straight home. I opened up my bag and took out my wings only to find that they were somewhat cold. I took them downstairs and placed them in my air cooker and heated them and gave my wife a portion and myself as well. There is no expectation of the fries being awesome because it's hard to preserve fries. However the wings although they were hot from the air cooker were somewhat stale. I was disappointed because normally on "to go" orders I never have to reheat them and to my liking they are at the right temperature when I get them home. I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager and he told me that he would write my name down and when I decided to come back they would replace them. A couple of days later I called the restaurant only to speak with another manager who said that my name wasn't written in the book. I'll take some of the responsibility because I should have remembered or wrote down the managers name that told me that but I didn't. However they gave me no assurance that they would look into it. I then had to ask them to check with the manager that worked on that particular day. On yesterday June 2 I called again and asked them did they find my name. The same manager that told me they did not see my name spoke with me. He shared with me that he had spoken to the manager that was on duty and he doesn't remember any complaints they had on that day. This particular manager who I spoke with seem to me didn't really care. No additional assistance no nothing. I got off the phone with him feeling devalued as a customer that frequent this establishment on plenty occasions. I made the decision to go back up there to speak with the manager personally. I wanted to assure him that I did not want any wings nor no credit for wings of that nature. I just shared with him that as a consumer I feel as though they do not value me as a customer. I believe the waitstaff does an excellent job. I believe they serve some delicious food. However the manager that assisted me showed me by his actions that they did not or shall I say he did not value me as a customer. I shook his hand and said that I bet Buffalo wild wings will value me as a customer and I also told him that I will share with people on Yelp about my experience. At that time he apologized. I told him that he had two occasions to apologize and now when you've lost me at a customer that's when you decide...
Read moreWhen the Uber driver arrived the food was not only cold but it wasn't what I ordered. I contacted the store and was left in hold twice for over 10 minutes each time. I called back a 3rd time only to get the rude bartender/waitress named Christina who asked "what my problem was?" As I begin to explain she immediately cut me off and said "so what do you want?" At that moment I asked for the manager and she stated that she could either take a message or I would have to wait until the Manager "had time". I advised that I no longer wished to speak with her and that she needed to get her Manager...He got on the phone he asked what the issue was stated that he would remake the order but that he had no way of resending the Uber driver with the replacement order I advised that I would come to the location. Once I arrived I waited at the bar for several minutes before Christina ever acknowledged me. I advised why I was there I attempted to show her my Uber receipt versus the receipt that she had rung up she said "let me see your phone" and said that's what I typed I advised her that I needed to speak with the Manager because it was clear that we were getting no where. Christina tossed my phone on the bar and went into the kitchen yelling about me to the Manager. The Manager did send another waitress out to make sure that the order was correct and he began making the order. While I waited Christina continued looking and making comments about me to other customers which is very disrespectful. The Manager did make sure to let me know that he was taking care of the order personally however I feel that the entire meal should have been complementary since the customer service was awful and Christina had such a lackadaisical attitude and her customer service skills are mediocre at best and her career in the food/hospitality industry should have ended tonight. I have been a repeat customer on a regular basis and I don't appreciate being treated as if my business was less important than your employees paycheck. If you are not going to be of service to the customer then I would have to question your motives for business. As a business owner in the hospitality arena I allowed you to make a human error, however, You in turn allowed your employee to drop the ball on your behalf. As a fellow business owner I would presume that you would be cautious in choosing which associates represent your brand on the front end. It is my hope that you would use the experience as a learning tool for how not to treat your customers and to have your employees conduct themselves as if they are serving the CEO of Hooters at all times. Please note that the worst advertisment is that of a disgruntled customer. I read the reviews just to make sure I was speaking strictly from emotions but by the looks of it this Hooters location is clearly a repeat offender of poor customer...
Read moreHorrible service and manager staff.. We came here at around 245 today after moving all day because we wanted wings and beer. We had 7 of us and got a seat right away on the patio, not bad! We waited at least 10 minutes maybe a little more before a waitress even came to the table, Savannah I think was her name... (i don't really remember because she was only out there at our table twice the whole hour and a half we sat there...) We ordered our drinks, 4 bottle beers 3 cokes and 2 apps of fried pickles. it took another 10 min before any drinks came out, not just bar drinks, and we got our order in then took another 10 min for apps to come out(20 min after ordering). So 30 minutes in to the visit we got our appetizers. We didn't see our waitress after this point again at all!! We had to stop another waitress an hour in to get our drinks refilled and see if our food was close to coming out. We told her she could pull us over if she wanted because we hadn't seen our waitress in 30 min at all!!! So she said she was trying to see what happened to our order, and had to come back out and had to re-read the order written on a napkin that was half legible given to her from our absent waitress... an hour in still...we asked for a manager at this point... So she went back in to check and get manager. A couple minutes later one order of wings came to the table and the waitress said she thought it was the only one rang in... So as we wait for a manager to come, still no food. AN HOUR AND HALF IN the waitress comes out says she guessed THE ORDER HAD NOT BEEN PUT IN..AND STILL NO SITE OF MANAGER (20 MIN AFTER WE ASKED FOR HIM) when we were told that, we told the waitress to run checks for or drinks we'd pay for those and we were leaving. that this was ridiculous. So we got up went inside to pay for drinks.. I see the manager standing there just talking to some guys up front and call him out asking if he was the manager ? he was. I explained what was happening and he gave me the run around saying they were busy and he hasn't had a chance to come out.. he didn't know what was happening they had an order of 500 wings..They weren't even a half full restaurant. I asked him why our waitress disappeared and why after an hour and a half we still had no food and empty drinks and why no one could really tell us what happened...?and then got an attitude when I asked to just pay for drinks throwing his hands up saying just don't worry about it..
