Unbelievable—We stopped at this KFC for a bathroom break and lunch before heading over to PetSmart. It was AWFUL. Doors were locked, no posting or info on the door so we tried the drive thru. While we trying to order, there was so much hoopin and hollering and laughter in the background, and the woman taking our order was rude, her frustrated tone saying She Couldn’t Hear us—. We placed just a small order instead of eating a full lunch bc we were concerned already at how we were being spoken to just through the speaker…. Long story a little shorter, we spoke to Gail the “General Manager” she said. She kept talking over me and then started raising her voice and pointing her finger at me leaning out the drive through window.
I was shocked. I asked for the district managers name and number. She gave me a Cash Express post it note with no name and just a phone number on it. Ohh, and she told me it wasn’t a big deal, “It’s just chicken!” And the order was missing our cookie and a biscuit And the chicken was greasy.
When I called the number as we drove away, a young sounding man answered, and we both could hear ‘Gail’ yelling (about me) in the back ground. The teen tried to pretend he was the DM!! She had given me the restaurant’s phone number. I told ‘’Brian’ to tell Gail behind him that it was a nice try.
I googled KFC and got a corporate customer service number. Funny note, the manager at Petsmart had to open a second check out line, I was joking trying to shake off the horrible KFC experience and said to him, don’t go to KFC for lunch, they aren’t n a good mood today. His reply, oh yeah, They Never are!
It’s just chicken, so I recommend just getting chicken...
Read moreI popped into the Hermitage Kentucky Fried Chicken store at Oakwood Commons to grab a couple of orders of chicken livers for my brother. Every time I come to Nashville I try to buy some for him because he loves them so much. He always looks forward to my visits, especially when I have chicken livers. I didn’t want to go to the drive thru so I went inside the store to order. I was impressed with how clean the store was and the friendly people at the counter. I asked for two orders of chicken livers. Yum yum !! However I was very disappointed when the young man at the counter told me that they didn’t sell chicken livers at that store. I know they used to; I’ve bought them here many times. He suggested I go to the store in Nashville but I told him I really didn’t feel like driving that far especially in Nashville rush-hour traffic. Dude. You have no idea …what a mess traffic is here now!! I know they used to sell chicken livers at this KFC store but I guess they just quit selling them. It was hit or miss before - sometimes they would have them and sometimes they would not. Even then they advised me to call first to make sure they had them. I guess nobody bought them. Except me. I’m pretty sad to hear that because my brother always looks forward to my coming over whenever I’m in Nashville and bringing those delicious KFC chicken livers I went to visit my brother anyway (with no livers) and we arranged to go out for catfish tomorrow night. There’s a pretty good place in Donelson for all you can eat catfish. I went there Tuesday night but they were closed. 🤬 I will review that place...
Read moreI love KFC's food! It is so delicious. Unfortunately, you have to navigate an obstacle course of rude, inarticulate jerks to obtain it at this location. They have a real problem there and I'm just going to say it...black employees that hate white people and make sure every white customer they encounter knows it. Why on earth the owner allows this is beyond me. They'd probably have 10 times the business if they'd fire the racists and hire some competent employees. Oh well, plenty of other options to choose from in this town. I tried the other night because I wanted to try one of the new twister wraps (literally 2 chicken strips, lettuce, tomato and sauce). After three tries understanding what the miserable order taker was trying to say, I realized he was saying they didn't have those right now. Too lazy to fry a few chicken strips. Not sure what time they stop making any food, but it is WELL ahead of their 10:00 close. If you ARE willing to let people like this talk to you like that, I wouldn't attempt an order after 8 as that seems to be when they stop working altogether. I'm thinking this KFC and the Wendy's down the road exchange employees...same problem in both locations. Avoid, avoid, avoid...let's put them out of business. People with those attitudes need to be doing non-customer facing jobs such as cleaning toilets, washing dishes, etc. Companies that are willing to hire and retain people with those attitudes needs to be put out...
