10/10 & all the stars! Best coffee, best breakfast, and best staff I've ever encountered at an airport (or anywhere), and with non-airport pricing!!!! Fast and delicious. New BNA go-to. Staff was kind and friendly at 4:30 am. The cheerful woman running the register opened a second register and worked them both so she could take orders twice as fast and we didn't have to wait while the previous person's card processed. Who does that??? The Flat White was the best I've EVER had. The barista knows her stuff!!! And the food! Gaaa! So. Good. First of all, the chef called me by my first name when my order was ready (almost as soon as I sat down), and handed it to me with a big smile. I got the Frequent Flyer: sausage, egg, and tots smothered with cheese sauce. I was a little concerned it would be too salty and soggy with the cheese sauce, but it was PERFECT. Delicious, piping hot, and a nice mix of flavors and textures. The tots were perfectly crispy and the sauce was rich and creamy. It came in this huge box for only $12, which would be a bargain OUTSIDE the airport. I could only eat 2/3 of it, despite by best efforts. I will 100% be back and tell all my many friends and co-workers who fly through BNA to go to Kitty Hawk! Read moreI had an extremely upsetting and humiliating experience at this location. The manager on duty took pictures of me without consent and called security when I questioned why. I came in wearing my work badge, asked about a frozen espresso martini, and was ignored by the two cashiers for about a minute while they talked. When I finally placed my order, they asked if I worked at the airport and said they couldn’t serve me because of my badge. I explained I worked for an airline, not the airport, but they told me to leave, remove my badge, and return without it while they checked with their manager.
When I came back without my badge, the manager refused service, saying I shouldn’t have entered with my badge in the first place. As I was leaving, he took a picture of me. When I asked why, he said it was so staff would know not to serve me and that it was “a public place.” He then called security and described me specifically as “an African American female,” which felt racially motivated. Security found no issue, but the manager also told me I could be watched on their cameras while waiting.
