Had been going here for a couple years during my kid/teen years with my parents , revisited 3 years ago quality wasn’t too bad. Came back yesterday 10/20/24 and when I say I didn’t even wanna write this review because of how traumatized my taste buds are , I mean it . Started with the horchata , used to be super good and nowadays it just tastes like the KLASS powdered horchata I can get at the store😂. They really charging $4.50 for the powdered horchata guys. Oh but it gets worse ! The salsa was too blended and it wasn’t salsa you can just call it soup . The crackers literally broke apart and dissolved in your mouth like dust 😂, couldn’t even hold its shape . We got an appetizer because my girlfriend was getting Mexican later with friends ,but I just wanted Mexican early in the day so she got the choriqueso. They should’ve just called it the chorigreaso because the amount of grease that built up in 1 scoop was crazy !!! That should be a health hazard ! The tacos were so bland no seasoning at all not even salt bro, we got 1 each. Should’ve left when we saw them because how you gonna call yourselves a Mexican restaurant when you can’t even get a taco right ? Oh and it wasn’t served with any sauce at all NOR A PIECE OF LIME ! How do you expect people to eat your dry a** tacos if you don’t provide any sauce ? When I had came here before the pollo al carbon was not $20 bro so I didn’t pay too much attention to the price my guess was it went up a couple of dollars not literally $9 dollars like what yall taxiinggggggggg ! Now let me say how it was . The rice had no seasoning . It was BLAND , the beans were okay not the best but not the worst and I thought it was hard to mess rice up especially if you’re branded as a Mexican restaurant but I guess I’ve been mistaken ! Literally we didn’t want to cook so we came here but my girl can make a Mexican rice that will knock this rice out of the park BY A LANDSLIDE . Wanna know why that’s embarrassing? Because my girl isn’t even Mexican ! Let me tell y’all bout the chicken though. 1 word . DRY. Please don’t waste y’all’s money that chicken was also bland and it made my stomach feel like world war 3 was starting . The waiter was at-least very decent and his service was awesome . I really hope he finds a better work place or a restaurant where the cooks make the food with love to compliment his service , because they did not do my boy justice . It was around 3 on a Sunday and this restaurant used to get packed . I wonder why it doesn’t anymore . Don’t waste your money here . This isn’t authentic Mexican cooking because authentic Mexican cooking is made with love and care for the customer . It’s also made with SEASONING !!!

We were craving tacos and margaritas, and since this restaurant had some good reviews, we decided to check it out. For margaritas, they only had 2 flavors when we went, so we got the strawberry and the regular margarita. They were okay but paired well with the meal. We ordered a few tacos and decided to get plates. I got the cheesy chicken, shrimp, and steak with rice, and I thought it was really delicious and the portions were great. My fiance got a platter that had different meats, and it came with tortillas, beans, and rice. My only complaint was that our server didn't come around, and we'd have to track him down if we wanted a water refill, straws, or other stuff we needed. Overall, we enjoyed the plates we got, we'd probably skip the tacos next time, but the main dishes were good. The margaritas were okay, and I just wish they had more flavors.

This will be the last place I go to. The food was not the best. Don’t come and waste your money. It’s pretty expensive if I say so myself. There was not enough flavoring on the food, very small portions, and the food was cold. When I first walked in I got sat and the waiter brought drinks and chips. We order a side on small Wacamole and they brought us the smallest one I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. Then took are order when we were ready. Literally not even 5 minutes passed we got are food. Which is not bad but also questionable. The place was pretty full… anyways I paid $70 for three basic plates. But remember really small portions so if you are in a diet or don’t usually finish your plate and is willing to spend a good amount here is the place to come.

I moved here on May 13, 2017 with my Fiance. We live near La Terraza and heard many positive reviews (great food, cool vibe, etc). We decided to give it a try. On our first try, the food was cold and the chips were old. However, our neighbor said to give it one more try. Our second experience was better. It was probably because of the pitcher of frozen lime margs that we got. They brought us back about 3 more times. The service sucked each time, but we didn't complain, we were happy to have a Mexican restaurant so close to us. The next two visits were ridiculous. Let me mention the only reason they received a star at all was because of the margaritas, but if I could give -5 stars on service I would. I took my girl friends here for lunch one day during my bachelorette party because we LOVE mexican food. When I ordered the SAME thing that I order every single time (appetizer portion of nachos with grilled chicken and cheese only) the lady argued with me and said we do not do that here. She insisted that I MUST have ordered that at another local restaurant. Then she went on to say that I would have to order fajita chicken only, not grilled. For some reason the seasoning in the shredded fajita chicken makes my throat feel weird so I always order grilled chicken to avoid that. I asked if her manager was around so I could speak with them. She got a not so nice attitude (not only with me but one of my friends) about why there was no one we could speak with. She then brought a man over who spoke no english to explain to me that I could not order that, and it would be $5 more to get grilled instead of fajita. I kindly told him never mind I'll just stick with a bowl of queso (because clearly I was annoyed by the fact that they told me I could not order the same thing that I always order.) I gave them the benefit of the doubt and told my fiance to order our appetizer portion (because I can never finish a full portion its just a waste of money on my own personal part) and when he called the same lady who was rude to me told him he could not order that and hung up on him. I called back and said "just give me fajita, no vegetables" and she said "nope can't do that either.... its mixed in and premade" WHICH I KNEW IT WASN'T BECAUSE MY FIANCE GETS FAJITA WITH NO VEGGIES. Angered by this lady yet again, I asked for someone in a managerial position. She said, no one here is a manager and hung up again. 0/0 would NOT recommend. (unless you just want a margarita but even then idk if their attitudes are worth it). There are many nice girls there who were as sweet as could be (some I even communicated with in Spanish because I could tell she was having a difficult time understanding us) 10/10 for her kind heart, but not for the ones who treat their customers...

I'll NEVER EVER eat here again. We used to love this place and visited it 1-2 times every week, but it has been going downhill recently in quality. Little things at first like getting something wrong with our orders every visit or not including the sides that the menu said were included. Today this happened again and we shrugged it off, just asked the waitress for our missing food. I had a chimichanga with vegetables inside, I specified no meat, being a vegetarian for 10 years. A little over halfway into in something tasted weird, so I burrowed around in it and pulled out a big ole piece of steak. To me, this is as gross as you finding out your food has puppy meat or cockroaches in it. She first denied it was steak and we asked to talk to the manager. Over 5 minutes later she brings our check and says we can talk to the manager at the cashier, he wouldn't even come to the table to speak to us! We go up and explain there was steak in my food and that I haven't had meat in over 10 YEARS and we are very upset and I'm about to PUKE and CRY, and he SHRUGS. He also tries to DENY that the whole thing happened, that they cook veggies and meat separately. I don't know if it was carelessness or the cook thought it would be funny, but my boyfriend tried it, it was definitely steak. We ask to speak to the owner and he says that's him, which I seriously doubt, since there are 3 locations and he's only ever at this one. This guy couldn't even APOLOGIZE. I will never in my life set foot in this place again. VEGETARIANS BEWARE. The food is overpriced anyways, go to Casa...
