My family and I have been Las Palmas regulars for about 3 years now. We order from them about once per week. Weāve typically gone to the Nipperās Corner and Nolensville/Concord locations. The food is consistent and good quality at all locations weāve visited. However, not all locations are the same and this is the reason for my very negative review.
On 03/28/2020, we ordered dinner from the Nipperās Corner location by calling in for take-out. The young lady on the phone was acting annoyed that she had to take an order. We ordered 3 entrees: 1 chimichanga, 1 Grande Burrito Fajita, 4 steak tacos with cilantro and onion, and 1 pitcher of margaritas. We also stated that we are e-club members requesting to receive the $6.00 off for 2 adult entrees. They did not apply this discount and we didnāt realize it until we arrived home.
The following weekend on 04/04/2020, we again decided to order take-out from the Nipperās Corner location. This time we ordered 10 steak tacos with cilantro and onion and 1 pitcher of margaritas. When calling, my wife mentioned that we did not receive our e-club discount on our previous order. The man offered to give us a free queso since he couldnāt give us the discount on tacos.
She and I both went to pick up the order and the manager there said he changed his mind about the queso and if we wanted it, weād have to pay for it. We passed on the queso and he then stated we shouldāve reminded the server last weekend to give us the e-club discount more-or-less insinuating that it was our fault. It was a strange encounter to be sure, but we shrugged it off, took our food, and went back home to eat.
Upon getting home, pouring margaritas into salt rimmed glasses, and dishing up the food; we realized that only 2 of the tacos had cilantro and onion on them. I canāt for the life of me figure out how anyone could mistakenly exclude half of the ingredients on 8 out of 10 tacos. It makes no sense. My wife called back and explained the situation and the man asked her to bring back the food and heād fix it. How inconvenient this is when youāve got people ready and waiting for food with a cold drink that is likely just going to get watered down while going back to the restaurant.
She went back on her own and this is where it gets really strange. The manager immediately took the food and threw it away. Didnāt look at it at all. Just grabbed the bag, turned around, and tossed it in a trash can. He was incredibly rude to my wife saying several times ācan I talk now?ā The manager was acting as if we were intentionally trying to rip off the restaurant, so my wife said he could forget the food and we just wanted our money back. He told her he would not give us a refund. He then asked why she didnāt bring the margaritas back and she explained we had them poured into salt rimmed glasses and didnāt want to go through the trouble of bringing them back in. She asked what he wouldāve done with the margaritas if she brought them and he said he wouldāve thrown them away also. How does this make any logical sense? He said he wouldnāt give us any more margaritas and wouldnāt give us a refund and weād basically just get new tacos which they didnāt start making until she got there.
So, we ordered food that was made wrong, had to return to the restaurant, then had to wait on the new order to be made from scratch, and all the while put up with this manager giving my wife a huge attitude. This has to be the worst customer service experience Iāve ever encountered. We will never return to Las Palmas again, our family will never go there again, and I will never recommend them to anyone ever again.
There are much better options for Mexican food in Nashville. Places with nice staff that appreciate their customers and also have good quality food. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Las Palmas. This rude behaviour should not be permitted in the service industry. You...

Yes it was Cinco de Mayo, yes they were busy, but the way I was treated and how long I had to wait was unacceptable!! I called in my order at 7:30 pm and I was told on the phone that it would take 15 min. I sat in my car for the 15 min and went in. The front was a little crowded, but I expected that so I waited until the host/concierge had a moment. About 15 min past because he didn't even acknowledge me. I then asked for my order #405 and Bryan said he'll check. Well he left, but came back with someone else's order again, and again, repeatedly and said nothing to me. I heard numbers and orders that were after me!! As I waited patiently, I noticed after 5-10 minutes he still said nothing, but was seating every party that came through the door like I didn't exist!!!!! By that time I'm bothered. I ended up asking him a total of 5 times to check on my order and also the girl that was also seating people and they both did the same thing!!!! They were even taking other people's orders at the counter in my face!! People came and went and were seated!! That's the final straw!!! I asked them for a manager and they didn't get one also!!! When I asked them why haven't I received my food and it had been an hour of waiting and standing at the counter, they told me it was my fault and didn't want to give me my money back as if they were going to make me accept the foodš”š”!! I don't think so!!! I told them how long I've waited and how many times I've asked both of them and they still blamed me and said "Well we make it fresh". I was furious because they were arguing and debating with me, the customer, in front of a packed entrance!!! So unprofessional š. So I let them know again how long I waited and that it was unprofessional to make ugly remakes and laugh in a customers face especially while there were people all around!!! First of all, the food is ok.... the beef meat is really cheap and the taste is really off. The salsa is sweet, sour and runny; its not spicy or remotely like salsa should taste. I have literally been standing there with other guests and no one shows. Once, I ended up getting attention by calling the restaurant so someone would have to come to the front to answer the phone. Almost all of the waiters are rude and seem like they would rather be talking with each other than providing service - you know, unless you're a young, pretty woman; then they fall all over you. I have seen this multiple times. Last time I ordered take out from them, it was $18 for two tacos, r&b and a cheese dip!!!! WTH?!
