This is by Far the WORST location!! I live around the corner and always have to go to the brentwood location. The staff is very young 16 year old who never want to work. I understand teens. I have two teenagers. However you shouldn't be rude to customers nor say every day you are out of smoothie bowls. We come here 2-4 days a week. We get 3 smoothie bowls and 1 smoothie it's the same total every time $48.41 that's a lot of money on smoothies. Most the girls don't want to make them so they always say there out of smoothie bowls. 80% of the time there out of the acai they claim to make the bowls. However after going to brentwood a handful of times who's always polite and has yet to ever run out, says the bowls make the store the most money/ profit wise. So they are never out of bowls. They keep this store stocked. They get several complaints all the time with this location. Not only that but a couple of months ago the staff said there closed due there own employee stealing money from the store. That's information a customer shouldn't know!! Today I went to the location and I was told they couldn't make smoothie bowls due to high volume and she's all by herself. Then I drive around and see the other employee working with her. So I drove around and asked to wait till she's finished with all her orders to please make 3 smoothie bowls. She had an attitude, lied about working by herself and then laughed! Oh to top it's off After how Darn Expensive these bowls are they barely fill them. There's maybe 8-10 small pieces of fruit! Complete rip off!! This location is a joke and needs...
Read moreI was looking forward to trying the smoothie bowl. I went to the location on 3 separate occasions, today, was the third. Each time I went I was told they were "out of " bowls. First time- I was told they were out of bowls Second time- I returned the next day and was told the same thing. I was so confused, I asked on this visit what they were out of. I was told that the mix needed was out and the delivery truck with supplies was to come the next day. They encouraged me to come on the next day. I did not. I allowed more time to pass which brought me to my third visit which was today. Third time- I wait in line to order. When I get to the speaker I ask about the bowls and there was a brief pause and then told. "We're out of bowls ". I was so outdone that I pulled out the line and decided to call the store to speak to the manager. I told all this to the manager. He then told me that "We're NOT out of bowls." I was disappointed, because he began to share that this is a problem for this location. When they get busy or unable to for whatever reason they simply, just don't make the bowls! They inform customers like me that they are out of bowls. The manager was kind and vulnerable. I shared with him that they shouldn't tell customers that they're out of something. That's what prompted me to call. He did offer a free bowl. I declined, because I'd they aren't making them I don't want to be the recipient of a bowl they don't make for others. I hope the owner sees this and works with staff to offer the full menu. I don't usually write reviews but this...
Read moreGreat location. Just a small drive through kiosk/stand. Very friendly employees, and I got my smoothie faster than I had gotten it at any of the other brick-and-mortar locations. Frankly, I wish they were all like this. I like it much better.
I am adding this portion to the review because of what happened just a few days ago. A few days ago, not only did I receive a great smoothie, but my engine began overheating as I was pulling through the drive through, and I had to hurriedly park in a space to turn the car off before some real damage was done.
Someone on the team brought my smoothie out to me, and after I had been sitting there several minutes to allow the engine to cool, two of your team members, Aaron Rodriguez and his wife, Morgan, came out and checked on me to make sure that I was okay. I told them that I would be okay and that I was letting the engine cool so that I could take it about a mile and a half up the road to a shop to let them look at it.
However, Aaron and Morgan insisted on helping me by providing coolant for my engine. Morgan then followed me to the shop to make sure that nothing happened to me on the way. She even blocked some traffic for me with her car to make sure that I got there safely enough without having to gun (press on the gas hard) my car.
These were some of the nicest people I had ever met, they were my angels that evening. I really hope that whomever their manager is will see this and commend them for their efforts. In this crazy world, it is refreshing to see nice, unselfish, people....
