We were excited to try this new gem located literally 2 minutes from our house. But what we received was very below par.
We did an over the phone order and went inside to pickup. First thing we noticed was flies in the pizza case. I was already turned off to that fact alone but had already ordered $100 worth of food. Yes, you read that right! While the pizzas are on the larger side, the price point is the same for every pizza. Here is what we ordered, and mind you we waited inside 10 mins for the order (happily) and chatted with the cashier who stumbled when I asked if their desserts were homemade. Spoiler alert, they are not.
Pesto cheese pizza - $21. While the pizza was big, I felt it was a lot for a simple pie. But the taste was ok.
Chicken Alfredo pizza - $21. Again, felt like a lot for just alfredo sauce, diced chicken (that looked out of a frozen package) and cheese. Was just ok.
2 slices of double crust pizza - (Not sure of price as they do not give itemized receipts) Was already turned off to the fly situations but we also found a piece of plastic in the 1st piece and neither piece was even remotely above room temp. It went straight to the trash sadly.
Lasgana dinner - $17? Man was I pumped for this and how it failed. It was packaged in such a nice container and I figured it would be very hot considering we waited and live 2 mins away, but it wasn't even warm in the center. Upon opening it, not even steam came out. I was shocked and the meat was a weird grey color. Then the garlic knot was legit balled up in foil, cold, dense with a little butter and garlic on top. It wasn't good at all.
Cheesecake - Again, no idea on cost. Wasnt homemade. Just ok.
Tiramasu - $7? Wasn't homemade, seemed a little old as the top was wet on the corners and maybe 6 bites.
We did call over the plastic but was already just over the experience. You win some and your lose some. This was a total lose and I threw away over 75% of the food sadly. :( Oh well, maybe we will give them time and they will take this review in consideration for future customers. Cause I hate leavings...

Ordered a cheese pizza with extra cheese and sauce - any normal person would understand that sauce goes under the cheese, yes? What was instead provided to us was a pizza pie, with ladels of sauce covering the cheese. I thought this was New York-style pizza? Do they not teach geography in schools anymore & therefore they confused Chicago and New York? That can be the only explanation for what was provided.
When we expressed our displeasure and told them we would like the proper 'order of operations' for our pizza, we were told tough luck. We were told that next time, we should include specific instructions that tell them how to make the pizza. Our apologies!! We thought y'all were the professionals & would know how to make a pizza.
In this economy, maybe spend your money with a local restaurant who treats their customers with respect.

Read moreUpdate 7/24/25 Decided to try it again. Ordered delivery this time, was promised in an hour, was delivered in 40 minutes. My husband ordered the house calzone and said it was much better. I had the Italian Sub (hot) and it was yummy as well. We were supposed to have a house salad with one of the entrees but I didn't realize that. The restaurant called, apologizing, offering to send someone out with it at no additional cost. We told them that was not necessary. Great service. Maybe previously they were just having an off day. Will order from here again.
Ordered for take out dinner. I got the chicken Parm sub. Husband got a calzone. The chicken in my sub was very dry. My husband said he felt like he had an overabundance of cheese and a smattering of other toppings.
We had visited the downtown location and really enjoyed it. Maybe the OHB one was having an off day. Our food was ready when we were told and the staff...
