First impression was clean which is awesome and ideal for a restaurant. I couldn’t smell the food which is either a good or bad thing depending on your likes. I personally like to smell the goodness as I walk in. They have 4 tables for 4 people each and a bar with 4 bar stools. I got a carne mechada arepa ($6.59). The arepa was big enough to get me full and it had plenty of meat inside but with that said, I was not impressed about the flavor much and the meat was dry. I had to ask for salsa which they gave me the ajo salsa (garlic) and it was very tasty and not overwhelming. I got a chicha ($4), not really the consistency of what I’m used to from a Venezuelan chicha but not bad in flavor. To me was more like the “El Chichero” I got from the store in Venezuela with the sprinkles additions. I also got a parchita juice ($2.60). Don’t judge. Parchita was delicious, perfect combination of sweetness and sourness... They have Malta ($2.50). They also have tequeños (5 for $6.50) didn’t get them because they didn’t have them so I don’t know how big they are. They also have cachitos ($3.50 each) (a jam pastry) I didn’t try them either as they didn’t have them. They have regula coke bottle drinks too. I looked at the other people around me to see what they were eating and I saw the empanadas and they look big enough, definitely not the little appetizer kind. Time for food to get to you is average to maybe a little extra time so I’m not sure if I would come in if I’m on a time crunch. They have different “chucherias” candy from Venezuela like cocosette, Samba, Pirullin, Toronto, etc. They don’t have home made desserts yet but it says it’s coming soon. Parking is not ideal as is right on the main road of Nolensville Rd which is a very busy street and it can get dangerous to backup trying to leave. They have a display of their food on tvs so you can have an idea of what the food looks like and it’s helpful if you don’t know what it is. They have two bathrooms M/F. Place had a tv with music videos (Christian music) on the background but you couldn’t heard the music very much and they had another tv with Spanish channels. They have a display of some Venezuelan adornments that makes it nice. I like the words they have on the wall “pray without ceasing”. They are definitely a Jesus follower business and it makes me really happy. The only reason I’m not giving them a 5 it’s based on the parking. You need to make sure your customers get to you without too much hassle and the taste of some of the food. Overall I liked the place and it’s nice to have a Venezuelan restaurant that it’s actually open when you stop by. Definitely...

Parking stinks, but everyone knows that from reading the different reviews. The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They DO take credit cards.

Read moreI have been going there since they opened. I am Venezuelan and have sent many people there and they have really gone down in preparing their food. Pabellon is not with yellow rice. Then ok the rice is not cooked well hard grains. Black beans also hard. Tostonès really disgusting and even the tequeños not even fried right. I will NO LONGER GO THERE OR RECOMEND THEM. Two days in a row...food was not right. All they said was. sorry that has happened to you. I am not asking for free food but at least tell me ..we will look in to it or...
