Roy's Tavern — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

After a disappointing stop at Pelican and Pig my friend and I really wanted a Bloody Mary so we were happy when the bartender stated that she could make a Bloody Mary with Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix- Sadly even with the help of Frank's Red Hot Dill Pickle sauce the Bloody Mary was not good. We did not finish our drinks...that never happens- LOL! On the upside we ordered garlic parm wings, they were mediocre probably from a bag but the TOTCHOS were AMAZING! It was perfectly cooked Tater Tots with a plethora of Nacho toppings and shredded Rib meat... SO GOOD! Will totally go back again, will just skip the Bloody Mary. Several Pool tables and cozy tables/booths. Next time we're trying the pizza it looked really good! Service was typical bar service, prices were moderate and portions were large. Highly recommend for a fun night out in East...

We are bar, restaurant people we like for bartenders and servers to say hi at the least if they expect the tip to match, if ya know what I mean. We were there for at least 7hrs. Kudos to the kitchen--HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH WAS DIFFERENT BUT AWESOME. It is diverse for sure a mix between hipsters and new/old Nashville. Food was impressive. Darts and pool. Cue ball gets stuck a lot on first table . Lotsa seating stylish. Made great drinks. Lotsa TV's free water. Plenty parking. Patio. Cool beer taps and selection. Nice selection of liquors. FERNET. We spent about 300$ never a pleasant smile I must say-or friendly banter, .but we absolutely had fun, met tons of friendly customers. Ohh YOU MUST ORDER AT BAR... PEOPLE DON'T NOTICE THE SIGN AND LEAVE THEY THINK THERE IS A SERVER! The pizza is square cut looks awesome -tator tots...

My new favorite bar!!! Roy's is sports bar. It offers a fantastic neighborhood vibe with cool decor, a couple of pool tables, dart boards and a jukebox. Very comfortable seating and numerous TVs, makes it a great spot to catch a game. The pizza is a standout, combining quality ingredients with a delicious crust. I tried the tavern style pizza and the bbq pizza, both awesome. Cant wait to explore the rest of the menu, especially burgers and wings. Friendly staff adds to the overall experience. Huge parking lot was a refreshing change compared to many of the bars around town. I'll be back...
