Quaint & Cute lil neighborhood bakery and cafe you can walk to, on a Saturday morning to grab a pastry and coffee. It’s just adorable inside. We went around 9ish and they had a full spread of baked good. An older lady stopped by briefly after and said, “I never see the whole selection because y’all are always sold out, I’m glad I came early to have more options available”. All of that is true. If you go around noon, most of their stuff is sold out. By 10ish, there was a long line inside - people walking their dogs stopping by for their coffee fix, so someone finishing their assignment inside while drinking coffee - you’ll see a wide variety of customers inside. There’s a small parking lot outside you can use if you’re driving. Staff is friendly. Coffee, specially their espresso shot, is not bad for a bakery that serves coffee. I got their Bourbon Vanilla Latte with oat milk and it wasn’t bad at all. In fact, I liked the coffee better than the blueberry muffin I tried. It had a very thick sweet lemon glaze and it was just too sweet for me. I have had a better blueberry muffin at other bakeries but if I’m in the area, looking for coffee and pastries, I’ll definitely come by again.

Quiet and quaint cafe, great for catching up with friends or family. The atmosphere is cozy and welcomes you for extended periods of time. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a private parking lot in front of the building and also behind ~ easy & FREE. II. SERVICE Accomodating III. QUALITY The Americano I ordered was very dense and concentrated ~ I was very happy it wasn't watered down. Definitely recommend the pecan shortbread cookie, we all shared one and couldn't get enough..! IV. CAPACITY Available seating for a Friday late-morning.

First visit was to pick up this delicious King Cake! I am far from an authority on King Cakes, but I know what I like and I know when it's good. This, friends, is both. I ordered the cream cheese version and it does not disappoint! The aroma upon opening the box was a good indication that I was about to be in Heaven, and I was. Obviously fresh, fluffy, not too dense, moist (the only allowable use for this word, BTW), the right amount of sweet... Just really, really solid. Get you one! Laissez les bons temps rouler! 💜💚💛 #FoodiesOfNashville

I own my own business so I always try to support other small businesses as well and this place has really amazing baked goods but I have made my last visit there and will not return, I’ve never left a negative review before on a individually owned small business but on numerous occasions I’ve driven 10 miles from where I live to purchase items and they will be closed I’ve looked at the hours on the door but they have not always been accurate and the times they have been open they are out of everything I need ( mostly cookies ) I’ve questioned it and was told they bake only a few and run out most every day before they close. I’ve witnessed 4 times when I’ve been in that others have walked out the door when I have with nothing in hand after driving over there. Today I called and ask what time will you close today the gentleman who works there said 1:00 I told him I was on my way and would be there about 10 til , ask him what was left and available he was super nice told me what he had.... I get there at 10 til 1:00 he boxes me up $32.00 worth of cookies (of course out of the cream cheese cookies again) as usual and handed him the money he says we don’t take cash....what? It’s closing time I’m buying most all of what he has left in cookies and they couldn’t take my payment so I left for my last time after rushing over to get theses things. You the owner just lost a nice sale. Earlier on the phone I ask again as I had in the past if I could preorder he said yes so he took my name and number but I have no expectations of ever hearing from the owner because I’ve left two voicemails in the past to order and never heard back. I dont have to spend my money there but I choose to because of the quality product but it’s now just not worth the hassle & disappointment. In conclusion to this I want to add that I have 3 friends and 4 clients I’ve sent there who all have the same complaint. I wish you well with your business and I hope you find this helpful...

Their baked goods are delicious. Coffee is good. Kitchen? Service...!!! I got eggs, bacon, and french fries today. Pretty basic right? I've had it all my life...but this was really salty. The bacon was stiff as a board too. My husband had bacon on his biscuit sandwich that was a normal cook. So I very discreetly asked one of the people behind the counter if I could get it remade. She insisted I had to see the cashier. Ok. Fine. I waited then quietly asked the cashier. She asked what was wrong I said it's way too salty and the bacon is hard. Her response? "You can go ask the kitchen." WT??? I was reluctant so she started walking over that way, indicating that I should follow her...mind you there are other customers coming in... iI decidedt wasn't worth it and just went back to our table. The woman came back and said that she'd just tell the kitchen for me (what the first person, let alone her, should have just done in the first place) and asked me 2x how I wanted my order cooked. She was loud and insisted, when I simply said not salty and the bacon not hard, that was how they cooked their bacon. At that point there were 4 other customers standing around. I said nevermind It's fine. I had to tell her that 3x then. And at that point we just got up and left. We didn't even finish our coffee. I was really polite and respectful so I don't get the poor service, which, even if I wasn't, should be better. And for $10 bacon eggs it should be edible. It's a cute place and this was our second time there. But there are lots of good places in East, so after this, we...

I wanted to love this place. I stopped by to grab biscuits to take home for breakfast. I read the reviews and it seemed that the biscuits would be well worth it. As a baker and lover of biscuits, I was excited to try them since they're so close to my house. Unfortunately, the chicken biscuit I got for my husband lacked flavor (despite all the things on it) and the biscuit itself was doughy. The fried chicken's breading was falling off pretty seriously and it was overfried to the point of tasting a little too done. I got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit which tasted much better, but the biscuit still had the issue of being slightly undercooked and a tad doughy. I think that the issue may come from the biscuits' size. They are so big to accommodate the sandwich stuff that I think the outside gets cooked much faster than the inside, so you get a crispy brown exterior and gummy inside.

On the bright side, the blueberry muffin was pretty delicious and was baked well and the iced lattes were fine (though Dose holds my coffee trophy at this time). I am not sure if the biscuit mishaps were just a bad baking day or the usual and others just aren't as critical because they aren't bakers. I might be willing to try again, though for a $10 biscuit, I'm not sure if...
